Zero, 26 Dec 2016Which is great for gaming? Asus Zenfone 5.5 Max or Asus Laser?Zenfone 3 laser is not at all good for gaming because its battery capacity .Batter cames drained wuuckly while l
Playing games. So I prefer zenfone 3 max for gamers
I just bought ZF3 laser last two days and so far I feel quite happy to this phone.
1) 4GB ram: Sufficient for me to use at least 2 years, I'm not changing handphone regularly due to money concern.
2) 32GB internal memory: I have to use 2 sim cards, so no space for storage extension, and system will occupied about 6-8GB, if I get a 16GB internal memory unit I will get stuck in photo and video storage.
3) Camera: Fast focus, the rest still under testing.
4) Battery: Moderate using may last at least 1 day.
5) Design: I choose gold color, looks nice.
6) Function: Recommand to try the zenmotion and zengesture, which help a lot. (Tips: Press and hold to enter in the setting page)
7) Finger print: So far OK.
8) Call quality: OK.
9) ZenUI: Very GOOD because simple.
10) Asus apks: Recommand to try, useful and user friendly. You may feel different in others brand phone bloatware.
I used ZF5 before this unit, is good (Only battery cannot last long but still tolerable for normal user).
During I survey the handphone, mostly recommeded OPPO, none of them ephasis ASUS, same as last time I bought ZF5. I think ASUS marketing strategy quite different with others and zenfone still not very popular among the market.
I choose ZF3 laser this time because the resonable price and higher spec among the same price range phone. Zenfone give me the feel that like those budget user (especially student) who lack of money to upgarde computer, who want to improve performance can only maximum utilised the efficiency of hardware. So i like the feel, the creative from ASUS team.
About using it for 3 months, the battery start to have battery draining problem. On mobile data, u can see the battery percent drop while using it. If u check the phone time frequently it was horrible, every time u turn on the phone's screen the battery percentage changes. I not sure why this happen and now I am going to calibrate the phone by drain the phone battery to 0% and charge it to full. (I always do this but I didn't charge the phone by 0%, I do this by restarting the phone when the battery is fully charged.)
Anonymous, 19 Dec 2016Zenfone 3 Laser or Lenovo K4 Note?Lenovo K Note is way too far from this Zenfone 3 Laser.
This zenfone is way too good, knowing it is under mid-range phone
but the specs are high as any other High end phones. this one is good

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016on galaxy s5 when is wet it tell's you to clean the sensorThe ram will always be lower than advertised. The reason is because the system already uses the ram to keep running smoothly.

Mine's got a defect i feel. The earphones work just smooth but when attending call with earphones on neither i am able to hear anything nor the caller on the other end. Has someone faced similar issue????
Mine's got a defect. Auto touch/ghost touch when mobile data is turned on.
how about the battery lifespan..i have bad experience when first buy zenfone 5.. battery drain very fast.. 2 hours usage left with 30% of battery life... othe than that features are good.. especially the camera technology
I choose between zenfone 3 laser 5.5 and zenfone 3 max 5.5.. I take the laser 5.5 because it has more ram and gorilla glass protection. When i check the ram, laser has only 3.5gb ram... I want to know the actual ram of zenfone 3 max 5.5, anyone?
