hi guys, my phone was giving about 2days back up at moderate use in marshmallow, but after NOUGAT update, battery is draining faster. i think I will come back to marshmallow again. is it possible, please suggest or should I continue.please help me
I've been using this phone for 8 months now. So far i haven't encountered much issue until i upgraded to android nougat. Since then even if i set my volume to max, at first it's loud but after a few moments it becomes low ALWAYS. I cannot hear alert tones even outdoor mode is activated. The other spec of this phone that i don't like is the camera, esp the front camera. It's not good, it makes your face distorted and blurred even if you set the MP and res to the highest. Back camera needs MORE time to focus, you cannot take a nice pic if you are in a hurry. The phone specs over all is very nice, doesn't experienced lagging so far. The battery, the OS, the functions, performance are very good. I can't say a bad thing about it. Sometimes the phone heats if used too much with cellular data on. I would recommend this to the people who wants a long battery life and good performance for everyday use. But if you are the type of person that love taking pictures especially selfies, use Oppo, Vivo or Samsung rather. Some says Xiaomi is good also but i haven't tried it yet.
Fabionna, 06 Aug 2017And which is better asus zenfone max 5.2 or vivo y53?If I were you, I'm going to buy this crazy shit. Only a small amount if money to be added and you'll have an awesome phone :)
ok... so I bought this phone a few months ago. After only 2 months had the issue of constantly vibrating, vibrated while charging, with phone off and charging, couldn't even make or receive calls, (Could not hear anything cause of vibration). Did a factory reset both by settings and a button combo. Still did nothing. Had to send it in to have it repaired.
A few days later Asus tech contacted me said there was liquid damage to the phone. Sent me a picture of the inside of the phone. Clearly in the picture, the liquid damage indicators are totally still white. So how they came up with liquid damage as the cause is beyond me.
Anyhow, sent me an $150 invoice to have it repaired, not covered by warranty cause of liquid damage. I chose not to have it repaired, and asked them to send it back as is. It took 2 weeks to arrive and when I got it back the touch screen didnt work. It worked fine before I sent it in. Keep in mind that it no longer vibrates constantly but it sucks not having a working touch screen. I currently have a mouse attached with an OTG cable. So I am making due. It is a great phone as long as you dont have to send it to have it repaired.
Hi guys, i have an issue.. I updated my phone to Nougat but now i cant receive text messages, do you guys experience this also ? Can someone help me on this?

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2017I bought this yesterday bt arises heating problem yesterday itself can i give back it to selle... moreI too had heating problem at the begining
After the upgradation to nougat the phone functions smoothly and heating problem has been reduced a lot
Had the phone for 7 months thus far. Dropped it once the screen got cracked, dropped it recently on carpet and the asus logo isn't on the phone anymore. The nearest service centre for myself in Melbourne, AUS is a 8 hour drive away in another state. This phone is great if you need a phone with long lasting battery like me but just feels cheap. It makes Oppos and Xiaomis in the same price range look amazing. If only this phone had support in Australia it could be decent.
I had updated it to android 7.0 than had som isssue with it when turn on flight mode n again flight mode is off automatically blutoot got turnig on itself
it's only been 3 months since i purchased my zenfone 3 max (ZC520TL) and i'm having issues already. i can't use it properly since it keeps on tapping on some particular sides (upper right portion and mid right portion of the screen) even if i am not tapping it. i did not drop the bloody phone (by accident or deliberately) but maybe one of these days i might because it's pretty annoying..
I have this phone, my first ASUS phone and I am very surprised! My main need was a huge battery life. 4100 is just wow. And the seller services are very confortable with dedicated apps. I have bricked a Lenovo phone because of malware or something like that so with Asus, ervything is clear, client-oriented and all apps are included: power saving, anti spy, it's factory encrypted... So OK the photos are blurry, but the whole Zenui experience is a real " relax, everything is under control" experience. I really like a phoen that do not requires expert abbilities. A plug & play!
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2017I experienced over-heating when Cellular data is enabled, when playing game even your using it... moreI bought this yesterday bt arises heating problem yesterday itself can i give back it to seller? Will he return money?
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2017same problem ..Same. After updating to android 7.0, it is hardly to use the touchscreen. sometimes it needs to press multiple times before it wokre especially in messaging..
Will someone answer my question i gonna buy a phone soon and im still confused for which im going to buy asus zenfone max 5.2 or vivo y53
i m giving review after using 6 months
1) battery backup superb, it consumes only 10% for 1 hour internet use
2) both camera quality average
3) audio quality average
4) mobile heats up during charging, but no problem
so, if u need long battery backup, go with it
