Buy this phone last April 17, then after 4 days the problem is about the LCD screentouch. So i fix it to service center lend there for one week 'cause they have to order the LCD to the capital. And so i got the phone after one week and work smoothley, and i updated to nougot because the app is always seen as ads in the phone. But when i reset the phone lots of problem affected this phone, and i would like it back to marsmalow and what should i do to bring back the normal system?
Hi. I just had my phone sent to asus center 2 weeks ago. I was able to get it last monday. The touch screen is working fine now..however, i noticed another problem. My phone charges up to 8 hours. Right now, my phone has been chargong for 4 hours and 30 minutes, yet my battery is only 45% charged. Please help. I am starting to get frustrated with my phone :(
Never upgrade to Nougat (Android 7). Nougat is not yet stable. Just system update it for some improvements for Android 6 (Marshmallow) And never disable any apps (if you think its a useless app) or else you're gonna stuck at bootloop when you restart your phone. (it can be fix with hard reset: Power + Volume Down Button) so far so good and no issues! I recommend this phone to everyone! :)
How can i know that iys reliable? I want to buy this week? Some suggestion pleaze
Bought this phone last May and I started experiencing flickering screen on July 30, 2017. I don't know where exactly the problem is but I think it's only in the software. I'm going to try a hard reset and check if still the problem persists.
If not only for the flickering screen problem, I would definitely recommend this phone!

hey guys, got mine. its 3 months old now. I don't see any problem on it.. even if I updated it into Nougat this not cause any problems on mine .. :) happy user here.. Thanks. just want to share mine.
Just got my zenfone max 3 5.5 for like 3 weeks and its one of the worst phone ever..
Week 1 - I notice time to time a crack underneath the phone is getting bigger near the screw
Week 2- The touchscreen is unresponsive & sometimes its laggy .. ( facebook and just playing mobile legend )
Week 3 - the touchscreen is no longer working as well as the finger print sensor
I am not recommending this phone, overprice
this is my last asus phone , so worst
Just got mine, I'm okay with overall aspect of this phone, one thing that doesn't impress me is the camera, in low light it's SO grainy (I used mi4i before, the camera is grainy too in low light but it's still tolerable) also one thing that I notice is the brightness sensor keeps changing when I use it indoor, but overall it's value for money
Guys, you should NEVER be eager to update to the latest operating system.
If we have learned anything, from DOS 4.0, Windows Vista, Windows 8, the security intrusions of Win10, certain flavors of Linux not fully tested and released...
AND... the slowdown, larger memory footprint of the new OS...
AND worst of all, the fact that your device did not go through a years of co-development between firmware and OS to debug it all.
UNLESS you can name _one_ single feature that is absolutely critical to your life, that you _must_ have, from the new OS, that the older one did not have, you have many reasons to _not_ "upgrade" to a new OS.
In fact, I am willing to bet, that 99% of you so eager to upgrade, did not even research everything that changes from one version to another. I bet that you think it'll make your phone better and faster, no research required! lol Well, as said above, it'll just hog more memory and resources, and unless your phone is severely broken with the original OS, you'll just make things worse.
When you think of it, it is the worst thing you can do.
So, before you mess up (ie: "upgrade" the OS), think twice - and think hard if you really need to.
It's not the phone that sucks: it's your decision to install the new OS!
