Zenfone 2 laser Gorilla Glass 4 and Zenfone 3 Gorilla Glass 3.. Wtf !
yess... good looking asus finally appear.. mid rage smartphone with awesome spect... hurm... i am just curious when will it lunch in malaysia... waiting
Asus Zenfone 3 - looks really nice and some good specs but I would have preferred a larger battery - at least 3300 mAh. Also at 77. 4 mm wide, it is a bit wider than the best 5.5 inch phones which are about 75 mm wide or a little less. Two or three millimetres may not seem like much but it feels bigger to hold in your hand. Battery life and compactness are two of my top criteria. I notice that their larger deluxe model with the 5.7 inch screen is exactly the same width as the entry level 5.5 inch one so they made an effort to make the deluxe model sleeker.
Juat wait for the zenfone 3 deluxe , snap 820 ,6gb ram , 128gb rom.. Rumored price is $500
Finnaly, a good looking Asus, which is not that huge as the predecessor.
On zenfone 3, why did they opted for gorilla 3 and why note gorilla 4. Aren't they willing to strengthen their product. I wont buy asus due to this reason. My last phone broke the screen thrice due to so called gorilla glass 3.
Why no 4th generation gorilla glass? Why 5.5inches phone has 77.4mm width same as Deluxe 5.7inches phone?
Anonymous, 26 May 2016Asus camera software suck even use Sony sensor.maybe a little bit improveYeah. Zenfone 3 must has some improvements, so I cant wait to 30 May. (Even I cant buy it)
AnonD-442158, 25 May 2016I'm not really in-line with your preference to Intel processors (we saw the ZE551ML failed to ... moreIndeed it would be great if they release a version with Intel Atom X7-Z8700 processor.
CodeWeavers are going to release their Win32/64 app player Crossover for x86-64 powered Android devices and a X7 powered Zenfone would be excellent for that purpose.
Anonymous, 25 May 2016It is not ASUS don't want to use the Intel processor, but is Intel is not releasing new proces... moreBut isn't Atom X7-Z8700 already available?
Although it would make the device bit pricey but I'm quite sure many x86-64 Android fans would happily pay little higher price.
Anonymous, 22 May 2016really? its good news. If Zenfone 3 use Sony IMX 300, then its will be beat mi5 camera easily.Asus camera software suck even use Sony sensor.maybe a little bit improve
dont know why asus not improving the ppi density so that all the picturesque looks great great if we take a pics.Asus try to make it like nexus pixel density with 510 ppi.
Max, 23 May 2016What the heck?
An ARM architecture Snapdragon processor!!
Give us the new Intel Atom X7-Z870... moreI'm not really in-line with your preference to Intel processors (we saw the ZE551ML failed to produce great battery life in GSMA review's Battery Endurance Test, only 50-60 H ish score, very standard for a flagship. And the Lasers that come after it that powered by Snapdragons have their battery removable which is a plus, extending battery capacity to "unlimited" if you know what I mean).
But after hearing your idea, I too want to see ASUS try their hands similiar to your idea, re-evaluating Intel offerings, and hoperfully addresses battery issues.
TF201... Artwork design, perfect screen, great camera (yes I know for a tablet!) For those unaware of the Transformer Prime it launched back in 2011 with a quad core Tegra 3, 1GB ram, I pre-ordered it at gamestop.
My first Zenfone was a Zenfone 5 A500CG I gave to my mom plagued with connectivity issues, dual sim and GPS functionality was useless at best, phone came back from RMA twice and they never fixed the issues.
Then I made another mistake purchasing a Zenfone 2 Deluxe to replace my stolen Xperia Z3, the LCD screen started to "peel off" and split internally until it needed a replacement, the camera randomly stopped working and now it just stopped detecting any sim card, I sent it back to warranty and now I'm sitting holding my old and trustworthy Nokia 820 in my hands. Never ever dropped it, the Zenfone 2 was purchased in december.
Can't say I was lucky with Zenfones, I sure would love one on par with my old Asus tablet quality standards.
Come on Asus, please make up something to cheer up your frustrated customer.

Previous gen processor all has heating issue, unless a new revised version of processor is installed.
The latest Snapdragon 820 and 650, 652 will be cooler than previous gen processor.
Max, 24 May 2016No!
I just don't want Asus Zenfone to lose its unique identity in the market.
Right now Zenf... moreIt is not ASUS don't want to use the Intel processor, but is Intel is not releasing new processor to the market this year, making the delay of Zenfone 3 release.
ASUS has no choice, only can opt for Snapdragon or Mediatek.
Would see if the Zenfone 3 is equipped at least with Snapdragon 650, 652.
