What are Asus thinking about by making this a hybrid phone where it can be either 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM plus an SD card? I need both and that's a deal breaker and I shall stick with my ZenFone 2 even if Asus don't seem to be supporting it with the promised Marshmallow upgrade.
Brad, 06 Oct 2016I've seen a youtube review where the slow motion video was very not smooth. Almost like 30fps... moreI have the fone. Unfortunately, 120fps slowmo was removed after .60 firmware for some reason. Now, it's just 60fps slowed to 15fps.
Got this phone a few hours ago and very happy with it. Perfect size for big hands.
Zenfone 3 for everything. Camera, apps, games, customizing. Etc. Etc.
Lumia 950XL for smartness, pure camera with buggy OS. Thanks. "R.
Great phone smooth performance and great battery life .. and always mistaken for samsung
I cannot understand why these all mobile takes lot of money behalf on smart phone but why they give hybrid sim slot we are now tiered to understand this things that we want separate memory card slot i wanted to buy this mobile but to be hybrid i have to buy Samsung. ....so disappointed
kenny, 26 Sep 2016fast charging ?Charge from 1% to 100% in 1 hours and 50 minutes.
Tested the phone for about a week. It is a all rounded good phone except the slightly weak camera performance in low light condition. It is a very good buy!
I purchased this mobile on 25th September 2016. Very slim and beautiful outlook. No hang, highly sensitive with touch, can be use multiple apps without struck, I use to play RealRace3 without struck-2.8GB is game total memory. Perfect phone who love to change or create their own themes. Camera quality is super. JeoLTE capable. Very good battery backup. Far better than Samsung. But drawback is 2nd SIM slot is hybrid slot. Cannot use 2nd SIM and SD card at a time. But Worth buying.
fran , 12 Oct 2016Already have fast charging ?Zenfone is already a fast charge phone maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes charging.
Received this phone in the mail yesterday. Blown away by the battery life in my first full day. Unplugged the phone at 630am, its now 10pm, I'm over 5hours screen on time and still at 51% battery. The ZenUI is pretty thick and heavy, and there's a ton of bloatware out of the box, but once you take the time to delete/ disable all the junk and set up a good launcher, the phone itself is great to use. Not noticing any slow down coming from a Nexus 6P. Very premium feeling build, if a little slippery. Camera is very good in bright light, not as good as the 6P in low light, but certainly serviceable.
So far, I'd say I would definitly purchase this phone again, in fact I will probably will be ordering another ZF3 soon... my wife wants one now.
I have Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL).
Drawback is that zenfone have no own Text Messenger App. No own Audio Player.
My research makes me want this fone! The One+ 3 seems great, but Asus is big in Asia and India. So I'll pay more. The Snap 625 is major change running cooler. The weight, glass and features are good. Latest Asus laptops have integration with Zenfones to.
Lets hope Motorola (beyond Verizon), Asus or Huawei can get offered by Carriers as an alternative to Samsung. I recently used the $200 Moto G4 for two weeks. Very fine device with Snap 617, Marshmallow.
