The Raikage, 30 Aug 2016What did I ask wrong?USB Type-C is the connector type that the Zenfone 3 (and many other newer phones) will use instead of the old Micro-USB connectors. It is a reversible connector like iPhone's Lightning connector, but it is a different connector. He answered your question, then you tried to correct him even though you don't understand what USB Type-C is. USB-A is the original USB connector (standard for all computers), USB-B is the PC Peripheral connector (Standard for printers and other devices), then there was the Mini USB connector (originally for the early smartphones), then the Micro-USB connector (replacing the Mini-USB on all smartphones), then the Micro-B USB connector (to enable USB 3.0 while maintaining backwards compatibility with the standard Micro-USB connector), and now finally we have USB Type-C (which is a reversible connector with support for the high bandwidth capabilities of USB 3.1 and Thunderbolt 3. This is what USB 3.1 (and Thunderbolt 3) will run over, but USB Type-C is simply the name of the connector, not the actual Cable or the USB Interface. This is what the other poster was referring to. I hope this clears up your confusion.

Ramtin76, 29 Aug 2016Thats not apple lightning dude! Thats usb type c!Type-C is an USB cable, not charger!! I am asking about the iPhone's Lighting like power connector of ZF3 as it is different than regular chargers. How to charge a phone with that connector??
Anonymous, 29 Aug 2016Did u buy the asus zenfone 3???I am not rich enough to buy this costly phone!!!
M, 29 Aug 2016By inserting the usb cable to the phones charging portI know that otherwise how can anyone charge a phone!! I am asking about the charger pin..it is not normal and looks exactly like Apple's power charger. If you still can't understand, google iPhone power charger and see the pic yourself. I don't understand how to charge with that type of charger?
Anonymous, 29 Aug 2016Btw i dont knw which country u belong to ??? I was talking about my countryLike I said, if you don't know how policies work in other countries - don't call other people liars or telling them that they don't know a thing. Have a nice day :)
In some unboxing videos, I have seen normal USB charger for ZF3. But in most videos, ZF3 charger looks exactly like iPhone's Power charger. How to charge a phone with this type of charger?
RobotPotato, 28 Aug 2016I think you should be the one thinking. He said "some countries". Like in my region, you hav... morewhich means the 40% of the device price... u have to give it for taxes...so i would lyk to knw your country too???
HalfManHalfSquirrel, 28 Aug 2016Import costs for my country:
device (incl shipping) + 10% customs tax (device + shipping va... moreBtw i dont knw which country u belong to ???
I was talking about my country
Anonymous, 28 Aug 2016Think b4 u speak... coz import charges are not so high n sometimes it is added with the deviceImport costs for my country:
device (incl shipping) + 10% customs tax (device + shipping value) + 20% additional value tax on device+customs... Roughly, 33%... and that's not final, there is always a possibility Customs will require your device to get local certification authority's seal of aproval (especially for things never imported before) and things like that.
Not all countries love their citizens with low import taxes, and not every country has same taxing and import system. You, as a smart guy telling me how my country works, should know that :)
