In its home country, ASUS is selling 4GB version at $320 (around Rs 21,000). Here it is selling 3GB version at that price. ASUS need deep meditation.
RobotPotato, 22 Aug 2016The only reason people think that the price is a disaster is because their hopes were crushed ... morebeing an asus fan you are just being protective... The phone pricing is very aggressive...In india ppl prefer to buy phones on the basis of price

In ASUS's home country Taiwan, they are selling the 4GB vers... moreThe only reason people think that the price is a disaster is because their hopes were crushed when the real pricing was revealed. If Asus anounced the real price from the beginning, there won't be any of these angry reactions. Look at Huawei's pricing of the similarly speced Honor 8; it's close to how the Zen3 is priced. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but those alternatives are not available everywhere. The thing is Asus is not forcing people to buy their fones. People should stop being salty and buy other alternatives if they can't afford the Zen3. Or if they can afford even more expensive phones from other brands, then go ahead, Asus is not stopping you; no need to hate.
As a ZenFone 2 user, I'm disappointed. I expected a Dual Sim slot with separate SD Slot on ZenFone 3. The price is also too high for a snapdragon 625 device. I'm going to buy Galaxy a9 pro that comes with same price & got far more better specs than zenfone 3. Goodbye Asus!!!
Why why why Asus why did you make the phone so brittle, why did you put glass on the back of the phone. Just to make the phone look good.

What about the heat problem in Zenfone 3? Bec Ive been using Asus Selfie and it easily gets hot when I play games such as Clash Royale and COC... it gets hot after a few minutes and playing gets lagging and the battery drains fast... very frustrated cos no reviewing ever tested on the heat and battery drainage....

I have read more than half a dozen review, but they are mostly Philippine's. I think all Indian tech/gizmo sites too have decided to teach ASUS a lesson by not reviewing a lot. Because they know that is the only way to reduce cost fast of this nice phone. Indian customers deserves it...so they may have planned.

In ASUS's home country Taiwan, they are selling the 4GB version at $320 (somewhat Rs 21,000). And here in India about Rs 28,000!! ASUS is daydreaming to make so much profit. Although I admit it is the no. 1 phone in its segment.
