for the audio jack issues that not compatible with any earphones / headphones, have you ever tried SoundMagic earphones? because my SM is compatible with this phone, just info, I hope this is helpful :)

"2g" and "Dual Mode" available but No 3g Mode.
This is a problem with low 3g network area. Phone automatically Switches to 2g. Even 2 tower 3g network better Internet speed than full 2g network.
That is a good option the phone is lagging.
Asus must provide setting for choosing only 3g.

CORRECTION GUYS!!! Its a 2.5mm audio jack not 3.5mm. i read it in zenfone 4 user's manual. thats why so mean many issues about uncompatible headsets.

the zenfone 4 dosent show number of notifications in the Whatsapp icon like it usually does with samsung phones,
