Akhil, 07 Dec 2017But the battery drains fast even if I don't use it Hi Akhil,
You can try the below steps.
1. Lower screen brightness
An overly bright screen consumes more power and can be harmful to the eye. To adjust brightness, swipe down from the notification bar twice and use the slider. Extend your battery life, and protect your eyes while doing so!
2. Shorten screen timeout time.
To squeeze more juice out of your battery, you can shorten the screen timeout time so that your phone goes into sleep mode faster. Try changing the time from the default 1 minute to 15 seconds.
To change this setting, tap Settings > Display > Sleep.
To change Cover View screen timeout time, go to Settings > ASUS Cover > Automatic sleep.
3. Trim unnecessary background apps.
Prevent unnecessary apps you don't need from running in the background and consuming your battery by using Auto-start Manager. Tap Auto-start Manager to select apps you want to discontinue from running.
4. Use Smart-saving Mode .
ZenFone 2 has many extremely useful battery modes, one of which is Smart-saving mode. It provides extra toggles for brightness, a feature that turns off internet, and an Extend Standby feature that lowers battery consumption by efficiently managing your push notifications when your phone is in sleep mode.
Tap Settings > Power management > Power Saver > Battery Modes > Smart-saving mode.
5. Tap Boost from Quick Settings.
Have you ever wished for a single button that solves all your problems? When you tap Boost, not only does it make your phone faster, but it also lowers battery consumption. Swipe down from the notification bar twice to find the Boost button.
6. Choose Wi-Fi over 3G/4G Data.
Using Wi-Fi instead of a data connection will use less battery because your phone doesn't need to constantly search for the network.
To turn on Wi-Fi, swipe down from the notification bar twice and tap the Wi-Fi icon.
7. Turn off Location Services, Bluetooth, and NFC.
Don't be lazy! Turning off these services when you're not using them can extend your battery life. To turn these services off, swipe down from the notification bar twice and tap the Location, Bluetooth, or NFC icon.
8. Set up an Auto-switch mode schedule.
You can't be using your phone all the time! Set up a time interval in Auto-switch mode to automatically switch to a lower battery consumption power mode when you're not using it. To do this, tap Settings > Power management > Power Saver > Auto-switch mode. After enabling this feature and choosing your starting and ending times, we recommend setting it to change to Ultra-saving mode (the default).
Last but not least, don't forget to pick up a ZenPower

If the downloading was going on for 3hrs, the battery would obviously drain.
AnonD-579661, 23 Apr 2018When asus zenfone 4 selfie will get oreo updateHi Farisskywalker99,
Asus says there is no official confirmation.
I dont knowcwhat I did wrong but my phone starts to hang. When I touch then screen. it doesn't move or anything. The only thing working was the middle where the censor is. It happened 3 times. So sad about it. I just tap and tap then pray that it will work now 😢 I spend all my money for this phone. please help me...
OMG ! Same here ! The front and back Camera si loading ! grr! Dis appointing !
Very disappointing! I bought mine 3days ago. I went back to the store the day after, because the front cam didn't work well. Some photos were so blurry as if it was corrupted. They replaced it. But again, the same thing happened to my new unit. Also the battery gets drained very very fast, but charges very very slow!!! Another thing, the signal is very low! It's always H+! I still have to restart it to be back to 4G again. But when I do, the battery decreases from 6% to 3% real quick!! It's really stressing me out! VERY DISAPPOINTING! But I purchased it through Home Credit, can I just terminate it or have a refund or something? Thanks. :)
Quite dissapointed with my purchase of this phone. It's slow, the camera sucks(the irony is, it's suppose to be a selfie phone but the camera quality sucks BOTH the front and back camera sucks) It HEATS UP EASILY! The price is not worth it. I should've bought a Samsung J5 or J7 pro. My last phone was an asus phone, half the price of this phone but it's performace was better than this! Dissappointed.

Javeian, 02 Mar 2018Are the specs is also the same in the Philippines?Yes, unfortunately i can't recommend this thing for you, the battery drains so fast, heating problems (same as all other phones in the same series), and the camera is not that impressive considering this is titled as 'selfie' which they should be focusing more. The back panel is 95% plastic. For the conclusion, id rather increase your budget to afford the original zenfone 4 or if you're budget is just really cheap i can still recommend zenfone 4 max. I both have max and selfie and i'd say max is way better but heavier and i've seen zenfone 4 and it looks aesthetically good and the performance is way better than the cheaper versions.
i have this phone, and i really find this one great, knowing that its not that expensive plus it has incredible specs, what else you could asked for. Mine perfectly works fine, it doesn't log when i play mobile legends, the touch sensor also are awesome. i really love asus when it comes to smartphones. this is such a cool phone with a reasonable price. :)
Lance steven, 04 Feb 2018Is this a sratch proof phone? Please anyone answer:(No. :< my phone already have it :< quite disappointed
Mae, 10 Feb 2018Im very disappointed! Yes! Disappointing. 4gb ram and 64gb space seems to be very good. Yes it... moreGenerally, ASUS Selfie series phones are all quite lousy in gaming performance. Used the ASUS Selfie in 2015 and was a great disappointment. Not to mention this phone is running SD430.

Im very disappointed! Yes! Disappointing. 4gb ram and 64gb space seems to be very good. Yes it is! Design is beautiful. But there is one thing! Whenever I play moba games, multi touch suddenly stops working causing my character not to move or not being able to touch other buttons on the game at the same time. I have to completely stop touching it before it would work again. My connection is great. At first, I thought it was just the game it itself, but hell no! I tried to play different moba games and it does the same thing. I can almost throw my fone and break it to my disappointment. I also thought it could be the glass protector so I removed it. But it is still the same. I also experience some touch delays on other apps. My phone is only 3mos old and O hate it! I dont recommend this phone to moba gamers!
Dear Respected and wise reviewers,
Please clear my only confushion over the display protection (glass) of this model. The specs dont tell about the gorilla glass protection. Is the glass vulnerable as compared to other phones come with gorilla glass??? Or asus put other technology inspite of gorilla glass on this phone??
