i purchased asus zenfone 5 on 18th sep everything good processor working fine and no lags in the gaming and once i faced UI problem and after sometime it automatically fixed. i am waiting for the kitkat update..... ofcourse battery draining fast i am impressed with the mobile .............
Why are you investing 17,000 in such stupid phone even if you have many better options and more economical than zenfone
I love this phone! Like what other reviews say, it is worthy for a middle range phone plus it's very affordable. I'm not that so technical when it choosing what cellphone to buy but this phone gives me more of what I expected.
ah, thank you, yes i saw it today. hopefully, it will be out today. i wish this update will improve battery life now.
Tomazz, 24 Sep 2014A bit lame test, but… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjkwaLvnKjE Second one is a bit bet... morethe second video is more convincing about scratch resistance, he's doing worse than my friend did. in the first link, yes it's lame, haha, they should had shown a drop test onto the concrete instead on the wood. but still, all in all, excellent phone, satisfying for me except for the battery but still hoping kitkat will spare for it. and thank to the transmitter thing you've shared. i don't get it much but i got an idea to find mor in google. Thanks
kittu, 24 Sep 2014I want to buy mobile. Please help me.which one is better..
1) ASUS Zenfone 5
2) Micromax Nit... moreI Use zenfone 5 for 2 monnth...and I will tell ya...never buy this sucks device...
Everything is good...but not the battery...
If ya insist to buy this trash....you should buy a powerbank with big capacity...believe me!!...
Zenfone isnt smartphone...its more like desktop pc....coz if ya wanna use it...ya need plug it to power source....lol...
Dont believe....try googling it...youll find in your search result..."zenfone 5 battery drain so fast" everywhere...lol....
Some people said...they can slowdown the battery drain...with root..greenify...underclock...wipe cache...its useless
Once again believe me....i tryin every tutor...every possible way...but theres only dissapointed in the end....
So...wanna waste ya money??...give it a try....lol

Mikkan, 24 Sep 2014Hi Thomaz,
Want to check whether what are the difference you are observing with Swype and Asu... moreThe original keyboard (for non English layouts) has extra keys on the right side, while Swype does not. But the Swype has the voice and drawing buttons, which can be switched off.
Swype has more layouts and dictionaries than stock keyboard, but both of them are performing well.
Prefer them over the Samsung and Sony ones. Oppo comes with Swype as default anyway, and HTC is in the same class anyway.
gian, 24 Sep 2014hello, my zenfone 5 always notifies me that "data usage warning on sim 1" it keeps ... moreYou can set the Mobile Data Limit at the top (there's a tickbox) where you can enter how much your data plan per month is, and on which day is the cycle.
When you start nearing that figure, it'll start warning you that you're about to run out.
If your internet is unlimited, you can disable that.
