Download the correct firmware for your device SKU
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=ASUS%20ZenFone%205&p=39&s=1&os=32&hashedid=96nqlxHp1VKV4Rdz
(CN, TW, WW), extract the zip file you donloaded, and you will get another zip file, put this file in root of internal sdcard, and you will see an alert on status bar, that there is an update for your device, open this alert and click "Update". Your Zenfone will reboot and will be update.
I cant remember if data in internal sdcard will deleted, so, is a good idea to back up all your data..
PD: depending of your current firmware version, probably will be necessary apply another update before last version.. read in above link, description of each version and check "steps for update" section.
You can apply this update in the same way that I described above..

If you wanna improve your battery life, download xposed framework and install it. Then download ds battery server.. you can improve battery life by this way so much...

Please guys come & share if & how Hyperthreading technology can be terminated because i guess this is the only culprit of battery life by making this dual core into quad core unnecessarily.
