One of the best phones I have used so far and I have used a lot. The only problem I had with this phone is the in-built BLOATWARE. Had to manually DISABLE a lot of them before things got a lot stable and fast. Those bloatware if enabled will consume a lot of the 2Gb ram and slow down EVERYTHING.
DO NOT update/uninstall any apps with "ASUS" in the name and you should be fine....

Approximately One and a half year of use, and I have never seen a phone so perfect for this price range. Beside, Asus not being part of the top 5 sellers in the phone business, You will enjoy the pleasure of having a unique phone when friends and family still carry "generic" phone trademarks (samsung, apple, etc...)

I Have been using this phone from past one year and i am experiencing the best performance till date.No phone can replace Asus at this cost.

Hi, fellow peps.
I know, this review is 1 year late. But, there are still people buying this phone so here's my opinion on the lasting capability of this gem on the 2014 market.
As for the start, no issues whatsoever, like literally, no issues. You enjoy the fast performance of the Intel core and also the smooth ride 2GB ram, sounds great right?
Yes it is, and then you realize that you will use this phone longer than 1.5 years, which is the limit to budget phone's healthy life spam. After that you're welcomed with: A. Laggy overall use with FaceBook installed. B. While using Youtube you'll have that annoying lag happening all over the place, not for long though. C. The battery counter will suddenly count battery percentage like a women's mood, up and down and boom, sudden shut down due to no power left. I am not saying this is bad or what but, this is something which will greatly disappoint ASUS users. As for my case I promised to myself never purchase any ASUS phones again. i bought asus fone coz i thought this was a trusted brand. i bought it May 2015, after 5mos, mainboard had to be replaced, after a month, when the phone heats up, i get white screen..it was fixed within the day, but after less than a month, i get white screen again and they say lcd needs to be replaced. 3times to get fixed in less than a year

Its really disgusting to have this phone, It was offered to us bu our company last june 2015 then right now it totally sucks. I recommend do not update system because there are some apps that wont delete anymore and it will consume your storage. another thing is the network type the box Asus had indication of LTE but when i found out its only GSM and HSPA. so dont ever buy this phone anymore.

Wait for a stable update that cannot cause any kind of problem.

Mic of the phone got damaged in 2 months. when i went to the service center they said that you have to pay rs 1600 for this.

Worst phone....you will find the phone good for 3/4 months . After that so many problem are coming.....for any simple problem minimum cost is 6000 rupees......
I am going to through this phone....
at present i am facing following problem...
1. Able to speak only on blootooth....speaker and mic is not working....
2. Battery problem
3. Bad picture quality...
