hi!! i am using this handset since last 5 days,till now my experience is over all good,i have faced 2 main problem,1. Auto screen rotetion ,and the main problem is the battery,its only suppot for 1day with 100- 200mb mb data access few voice call and sms.

It made a folder in internal memory named thambnail. And fill in this every taken and download photo of photographs and even video front photo also.
So the ram almost my be full.
Then the mob can not accept any sms.
it's a big problem for me.
It same also in many folders in internal memory.

Its good to hear that you are getting 8-9 hrs of battery life. I see it as a ray of... moreIf u had used other smartphones with better battery life and maybe better other specs, why dont u just continue to use them?
I use this phone for 8-10 hours a day with charge once.
Each of the phone especially budget smartphones have pros and cons.

Absolutely amazing phone, you won't get anything like it for $200. I've been in cellular retail for 9years and I laugh at people buying $600 smartphones and now $1000 Iphones. I rather go on vacation!
Updates to KitKat went quick, no problems. The phone is incredibly snappy, much faster than my HTC one M8. Benchmarks tell otherwise but it must be either the UI or Intel's way better utilization of Ram than ARM processors. Camera is fun to play with, love it.
Battery is smaller than most 5inch smartphones at 2000mah and I use dual sim cards so it does run out faster. The simple solution is disable your data sim when at home and your wifi when away and bingo much better battery life. You can even get apps that automate this for you.
Love the phone, great job Asus...show people how much a phone should cost!
