gung, 01 Dec 2014My camera gets crashed whenever I try to record videos...why is that happening??its because of google now, uncheck 'enable from any screen ' setting in google now

is user memory of asus zenfone 5 is 8gb as if they mentioned earlier,but when it came to real time it became 5gb.so any one tel me how to get back memory of 8 gb or it is un changable

1. Root method that worket for me without problem:

2. install Hibernate not Greenify (hibernate=greenify+money)
3. install DisableService and disable the 'location' services on googleplayservices
You would get 50% or more battery time. :-)

If you diable google play service then you wont be able to update your apps or get notified automatically if there is any app update. Rather i choose to disable location access for google play service. I am getting decent battery life with moderate usage. I don't mind recharging my phone after comming from office.
I never faced any major issues except fast battery drainage after kitkat update but resolved with next battery fixed update.

Can anybody else confirm? This is something very important that affects the battery life of the phone.

Jeet, 30 Nov 2014Today I updated to KitKat n I don't have my Asus messaging app in the lock screen. Previously ... moreGo to Settings->Lock Screen->Quick Access. You will see three apps there including the Messaging app. Click on the messaging app and change it to some other app, for example Contacts app. Go to your lock screen and you'll see Contacts instead of msg app. Again go to settings->Lock screen->Quick Access. Change the app back to Msging app. You will get the msg app back on ur lock screen.
