Hey..guys, I use dis fon last 1 mnth, 1stly as usual evrybdy cmplaind about its btry life nd I say yes when i bought da fon,also faced the same prblem(main prblem).
Another cmplaind was after updating kitkat phn behave like cheap one or any other software related prblem. But here also a solution fr those prblms.
1> android users mostly faced about batry life..here u can easily save ur batry life. Guys u have to stop ur google apps running in background(playstore,playservices,chrome,location,sync off etc) specialy fr those who use zenfone 5(100% wrking+no side effects)
2> after updating kitkat if u faced any prblem regarding apps den not to worry, jst backup ur fon nd restore it frm settings_backup nd reset(zenfon 5). It take max 5-7 mins, after reset check ur fon if there any prblm.
These r my own experience. After doing that my fon run awesome with kitkat updates+more features nd increased batry life more dan 27-30%.
NOTE:PLZ DON'T DO THESE IF U HAVE ANY HESITATION OR u dont know ur fon better.
Dont update ur asus camera app becoz after updating it misbehave nd face such issues regarding pictures.

Master reset ur phone using the volume and power keys...it does happen for a few models on all brands initially...my calculater app was not der wen I got one...resetted it and found it

I never usually comment.But this phone is so good that i have decided to recommend it to all the confused people who want to buy a new budget phone. This is the ultimate hands down phone in this budget. You get everything you need. Phone never lags.Camera quality and modes are great. The customer feed back which you get from AsusTek is excellent. These guys really reply to your emails and queries and give you really good support for your device. 2 GB RAM makes this phone stand aside from moto g which comes in the same price category. If you are thinking about buying this phone go ahead and buy it. you wont be disappointed.
P.S- I have been using Zenfone 5 for a month now and i am so happy with this phone :D

Today I updated to KitKat n I don't have my Asus messaging app in the lock screen. Previously I was having Phone, Camera n Messaging app on my lockscreen n after this update Asus messaging is not there on the lock screen. I have downloaded the Asus messaging app from Play Store after KitKat update. Can somebody tell me how to bring Asus Messaging App to lockscreen??

Guys is it possible that phone has quite some amount of battery left even at 1%.
I mean i have seen some people telling that battery lasts 3 to 4 hours on 1%
