Hi, I am from India, currently on Jelly Bean 4.3 with Build no.-Asus_T00J_WW_user_1.18.40.10_20140903_9870. My Zenfone 5 model is A501CG. Yesterday I got a FOTA update notification for version V2.20.40.13_20141105(update size 457.4MB). I would like to know, whether this is a stable update? I am sceptical because some people have issues with KitKat update. And I am very particular to install the FOTA update only n not go through the process of updating through a PC n then root my device n do a factory reset. So shall I go for it or wait for a stable FOTA update?

Hi tooj ww users atlast my znf5 (tooj ww) got update to kitkat via wifi but after updating to kitkat pclink is working in my phone when connecting to pc my phn always showing waiting for usb connection is anyone facing the same problem and tell me how to solve this problem....

What is the difference between wipe cache and factory reset
1) wipe case or 1) factory reset which one we do before upgrade from JB to kitkat?

The instructions on the link you have provided is in Chinese (not sure) and Google's translated page is still not easy to understand.

Ben, 16 Nov 2014battery drains problem, trust me you only need factory reset on your phone and then the proble... moreive done that before updating to kitkat..
