What is the difference between wipe cache and factory reset
1) wipe case or 1) factory reset which one we do before upgrade from JB to kitkat?

So there is no need to incrementally update. We can update to latest version directly

This means download the full update from Asus website and then update it ..right

I don't have any complaints other than the battery and heating problems.. perhaps the speaker is a bit low and screen is very light.. even though this mobile is really a gud one.. for me app ops starter didn't made any difference is there any other way to save battery?? I used to keep my mob in optimized saving mode and firmware version is WW 2.20.40.13

Have had the Asus Zenfone 5 for 4 days now... My voice calls keep dropping out after 3 minutes maximum... I'm only using one sim card...
Never had this problem before... I could talk for hours with the same number on a different phone, an old ZTE. Is this something to do with the Zenfone5?

i has brought my zenfone from asus showroom in kolkata.
and that also cheap from flipkart.
i brought it for 12700.

I have been using asus zenfone 5 for last one week. Performance of mobile is fine. But battery backup is very worst and getting heat while using and charging mobile. It is not giving battery backup even for one day also for only phone calls.. it doesn't give backup even 4 hrs if we use internet.

its awesome mobile, you can watch movies in HD quality
in negative side ringing volume is very less. you cant hear in the traffic. and brightness is less compare to samsung and micromax

Seems like cheap companies are hiding high SAR values.

It's about making it tougher so it can be thinner and lighter, allowing the manufacturer to make a thinner phone with stronger contrast on the screen.
But far from scratch or shatter proof.
I use 9H tempered glass protector over all my phones, the 0.3 mm one.
Works well, it's a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but at least provides peace of mind.
Cost of it is about 15$.

Most heat is coming from CPU, GPU and screen illumination.
It gets worse if phone is in a silicon case and cannot disperse heat.
