I got my Zen 5 today. Havent opened the parcel yet. I'm excited about getting my hands on the new gadget as well as worried that it might be a faulty one...
Can some one please tell me which is the most stable upgrade version of jelly bean and what is the procedure of installing the updates through sideload?
Also,is it possible to use anti shock tempered glass screen guard along with a flip cover?
Awaiting answers eagerly.

AnonD-321571, 11 Nov 2014Today I received 2.20.x update through ota.....but not noticing any remarkable change...no imp... moreyes i told them, they said they are working on it but i dont think battery will improve . only hope is the lollipop version which is gonna come next year april.. lollipop had bring some big battery improvements on other phones.. until then lets see what asus do in next update

Just to clarify, if im gonna install via sideload i need to factoru reset first (ofcourse ... moreyes, if you are gonna install via ota then no need for factory reset. but those people who have bugs were those who installed via OTA. and those people who installed manually via sideload doesnt have any bugs or battery problem

Everything about this phone is great except for one crucial thing - the battery life. The battery life for it given on this site is wrong. It only lasts about HALF a day. Not a full day. No way.
I can't use this as a travel phone with such a short battery life. It depletes about the same rate as it charges which is ridiculous. The sales rep never told me that of course. Now I'll have to buy another phone.

Is it official?...asus hasnt told about the version of the upcoming firmware but i mailed them asking about all the bugs which the presen version have and they just told me that they are gonna release the bug-free version of kitkat soon, thats why there is no WW version on their official site but is it going to be 4.4.3? they didnt mentioned that

Nice phone but battery life to short, everything fine in this phone but can't provide tracking service and insurance.

1)Where to find the Face unlock in this?? some people are saying that it is there. But i can't find it.
2) In calling screen numbers are showing very small after updating to kitkat. How to increase its size??
3) How to video call on viber? When i open video it automatically closes.
