asus fone is very hot in 15 minute game, or 15 min video playing,you not hold this heating phone, volume of this phone is very low, i advise to public you not purchase this phone.

Just a curiosity question.In the full firmware update from Asus website,if ifwi.zip contains file *_500cg.bin right ?I mean nothing specific for 501cg.bin.So my impression that 500cg files can be used for 501cg also?

Yes, but note that these are for WW version of TOOJ A501CG ONLY. Putting them on TOOF A500CG may brick the phone.

AnonD-323779, 25 Oct 2014recently i upgraded my zenfone 5 from jelly bean to kitkat version.. all features are working ... moreNothing to worry just swap the sim card.. i mean put sim 1 into no 2 sim slot and after this you're done.. i faced the problem and now ok.

there is very low volume while playing any recorded video/watsapp video etc.i have put max volume in my zenfone5 hand set.call attending , ringing volume seems good.could anybody advise is there any setting to increase the volume of video ?

Two new updates for ww version available unofficially through Facebook zenfone 5 forum. Version 2.20.40.8 (100MB) and then 2.20.40.9 (26.5MB). These are not available OTA or on ASUS download site. Update at own risk.
