Dear Tomazz,
Could u plz suggest me if i should update my zf5 to 4.4? I hav already updated it to 10.40.10 however, reading about the battery n other issues after kitkat upgrade stops me frm updating my fone. Should i wait till the minor bugs on 4.4 Are fixed? What if i skip the current update n instal the next update after this? Also, plz suggest ways to increase battery life as my fone usually walks for 12 hrs with moderate ussage on 3g.

If you previously already updated then you need to install battery fix released after that and do factory reset after installing battery fix update. you cannot again update to through OTA.

Don't update to kitkat until a well optimized version is released, for low volume use the app installed audio wizard enabled it then click smart.. Hope this help, jelly bean user still no issues..

why is my zenfone5 model (a501cg/dual-core 1.6ghz 2560 intel) a 32-bit when all i read the spex is 64-bit? can somebody explain this..

Am very sad After kit Kat update....so many problems after updates.... some time 10 to 15 seconds delay for open contacts..battery drains fast... some time apps give not responding massage....

And yes enable location when you need it.

If updated to Kitkat and then battery fix update through OTA then do a factory reset. after that update your apps fresh from google play store. Don't use back up apps. you will get a huge stand by time though you will loose more power during 3g internet use but still it's reduced than before. I am not facing any problem now. and yes keep your camera ISO settings on 400 instaed of auto for better picture.
