Open file manager and there is a ringtone folder and notification folder. Ringtone folder has tones for calls and notification has tones for alarm, calendar, sms etc. Copy the tones you want in each of these folder and then you can select the tones in sound settings.

AnonD-295960, 05 Oct 2014You cannot resolve it. It will not support Video callinghi! i'm planning to buy zenfone5 soon. is that all the disadvantage of the phone?
for me in mid-range phone,the specs will do i mean it's good
but i want to know what else the disadvantage of the phone so i won't expect to much..
cause it's cheaper than other smart phone..

After kitkat update my battery performance has been improved.
As yesterday i run hd video for 2 hours and it taken only 5-6% .
And i have luckily no problem in zenfone after kitkat update.As many guys stated below.

asus zenfone is a good mobile than other high grand such as samsung like a S5 and Note 3, HTC one, Sony Xperia z, because of zenfone are interesting to me, theprice is so very good, the performance are very tiptop,just ugrade perfomance video HD during record to make sure no have a lagging, just i want said, only the main of problem of zenfone is ONLY BATTERY PERFORMANCE is not so good...as i hope, for the next future, ASUS may give our customers average performance, PLEASE BE UPGRADE YOUR BATTERY PERFORMANCE!!!!!!! and for the kitkat update last time, is so good, but, update time to time to fixing the bugs..OK, however, I LOVE ASUS BRAND SO MUCH< ESPECIALLY ASUS ZENFONE 5. THANK YOU FOR ASUS

Hi
I cannot select all the available tones to select as Ring Tones or Alarm Tones
Issue is that there are some tones which I can set only for Alarms and some tones I can set only as Ringtones
For Example, There is a tone BIG EASY under ALARMS. I cannot select this tone, BIG EASY, as RINGTONE either for SIM1 or SIM2.
Similar, there are tones FLUTE SAMBA OR STEEL DRUMS AFRICA. I cannot select these tones, FLUTE SAMBA OR STEEL DRUMS AFRICA as tones for ALARMS
What I am looking is to select any tone available in the phone, for either for SIM RINGTONE or ALARMS TONE
Hope I am able to make my point clear.

AnonD-279813, 05 Oct 2014I just realise how lucky I am not to have any of the problems the rest of the guys have :(@Tomazz I'm not facing any major issues after updating to kitkat as well. Heating and battery is the only issues which I have. Both of which depends on what I do with the phone. Graphic demanding Games heat the phone up. I'm still not sure how much kitkat update has affected my battery performance. I haven't really tested it. As of now I think it's pretty much the same. Probably android l update with art runtime might help us :-)

i am on my 3rd day of using asus zenfone 5 and still confuse on some functions so far the fast draining battery is observed well i do understand it there are lots of applications running which consumes battery life even from the original phone features.....hoping i will not face any problem ahead and i dont wanna upgrade to kitkat simply because a lot of problems i heard about that version , a friend of my have a lenovo phone with some good features loses the quality of performance on its camera plus the jelly bean version cant be back even how she tried the methods of recovery

How ironic is it?
A phone with higher specs is giving more battery back up than a phone with comparitively lower specs.
I.e. with the same battery capacity.
Anyways..
I meant to askwhat are the optimum setting or apps to tweak my battery and optimize it.
Like.. i want to know how do you manage to get your battery backup.

In my asus zenfone 5, some images are not seen clearly. In some photos
1) The images are shifted.
2) Half image is clear and half portion is black/grey.
3) In some images they appear reddish or greenish or yellowish based on the image colour.
