Thought the phone is faulty and applied for a refund. Switched off the phone and kept it for 24 hrs packed in the box for returning. Before sending I just checked once more by switching on the phone and connecting the Charger- and it started charging again !! No problem for past few days since that. I guess heating problem perhaps- switching off for several hrs restored it.

That is the price of having high capacity processor on a small gadget. The battery suffers for the large amount of power it consume. The heating is also caused by the high capacity processor just as it does with laptops.

I am using Zenfone 5 16 gb version for more than a month by now. As is already mentioned by most of the users my phone is also experiencing the quick battery drain issue. But as of now a more serious issue had came. Its not charging!!!. I tried factory reset but still the same issue. Till now I wasn't able to get an ASUS service centre.

Its really impressive in lot of aspe... morei suggest you to buy a simple cover because the phone uses the proximity sensor with a magnetic flip cover wich drains more battery.for the kitkat..still no precise release date.

Hello Guys.. I have bought my ASUS machine two days back. Its really impressive in lot of aspects like size, clarity, camera, speed etc..,
On using it for the last two days I have some queries and i hope you guys will help me come out:
1) How can i attach a contact into the text message?
2) My speaker volume is too low. Any suggestions to increase the volume?
3) Normally every smart phone comes with the mobile test code( like *#06*# for samsung). Same way is there any test codes for ASUS?
4) My phone is getting hot at times even if i use a very light application like whatsapp. Any solutions to resolve?
5)Battery is draining so fast. Any softwares which can help me increase my battery duration?
6) when Will i get the kitkat update formodel?
7) Any suggestions for Mobile case? It will be better if any of u can attach the links?
