I used to have HTC One X some time ago and the cheap Chinese covers would sometimes stain the back, which could not be replaced given it was unibody design.
So I was very fussy over the covers, and that was the the reason why I would recommend sticking to reliable brands. Asus obviously knows what its doing, so it should be fine.

Regarding the experiement,as I mentioned you need to have additional sw like “Tasker” or “AutoConnectBluetooth” from the playstore.These software can turn on the event of “Phone ringing”.
Here the basic intention is to turn on the Bluetooth only when the phone is ringing so that it can get connected to your headset and can have the rest of the conversation on it. Main objective is battery saving. Otherwise on a normal course we don’t know when the call comes ,we have to keep the Bluetooth always on and connected to headset.Else we have to accept the call ,then ,press the home button to access the settings menu,switch on Bluetooth connect to headset – which is inconvenience.

Bought a bluetooth headset and … no, while the phone is ringing, you can't turn bluetooth on… There are just 2 active buttons, Accept and Reject, at the bottom, and that's it. Pulling down the settings from the top does not work.
So you would need to either pair the device before the call and have bluetooth on when the call is received, or during the call turn on the bluetooth.
In other words - my results are same as yours.

But the one that fits phone like a glove and makes it really good in the hands, is the exact case that you have on the second link. They exist in many colours, and are excellent.
So I can't comment on how good the first one is, maybe someone else has it. But I give 2 thumbs up for the second one.

Features wise this phone is great. Yesterday i have updated the firmware but still can't see much changes an moreover Why the speaker volume output is very low as compared to other smartphones as well as is it possible to increase the volume of ringtones because in noisy condition like (public place or traffic)one can hardly recognize if his/her phone is ringing.

After checking the system update it showed a 35.69MB update of the firmware 1.18.40.9... moreI have actually loaded the complete 1.18 firmware to folder on my server, which you can download and flash the phone with.

Steps of Update:
1. Check software version of your device**
2. Download device software and Update SOP (From “Manual” Item)
3. Only apply to same SKU update, Example: WW->WW, CN->CN, TW->TW.
4. Software update cannot transfer the software SKU and downgrade the software version.
5. Wrong SKU may cause update failure, please update the same SKU version only.
*How to know the device model?
Path: Settings->About-> Model number
Example: ASUS_T00I
**How to know the device software version?
Path: Settings->About-> software information->Build number
***System upgrade may cause part of data missing, please buckup your important data before system upgrading.
