After checking the system update it showed a 35.69MB update of the firmware 1.18.40.9 and I downloaded it...
But my question is I haven't installed the previous updates so will it be ok??? Because it bought the phone today itself and it is the first update I got via ota...
Plz help.

I faced myself with the same problem but updating firmware resolved all these... morethanks 4 da info. but i already download the latest firmware & when i extract the zip file nothing happen. i hv go through to Asus website & i realised they hv latest updated firmware for Zenfone 5 (A501CG) but my Zenfone is A500CG, can i download the firmware?

How's the front cam on the latest firmware? I believe there's still problem...Here in philippines, photo taken using front cam is lil bit pinkish, when doing our selfies lol :D

since day before yesterday i have started facing a problem.
at time when i touch the home, back and multi task key, they do not respond.
the solution is to either press the lock key or the volume rocker and they the home, back and multi tasking keys start working again
please help and verify if anyone else is facing thia problem.
the phone was working flawless before this.
