Guys. I just installed dolphin browser on my asus zenfone 5 and it wasn't working at all. Crashing all the time. This is the first app that hasn't worked at all on my phone. Clash of clans crashes sometimes but it works most of the time.
Anyone else faced app crashes?

I tried it after factory reset, tell me is it possible to install 1.16 firmware when I'm already on 1.17, on want to install 1.16 first as Asus skipped it for me, then I want to update it to the latest, I mean over 1.16

I am going to purchase this phn from Saudi Arab , M... moreIn this price range it well be hard to find another well-built phone with even similar specs.
As for white back getting dirty - I use Nillkin case to protect it, but on the other a flap case with hole at the top. Both original and fake active flap case replace original back plate, so you can just get flap case from day one and keep white one if need be.
Or get a good case, I like Nillkin because of immaculate precision they are made with, and not losing any colour like some cheap crap. They are from 7 or 8$ up including shipping on eBay.
Saudi models should be WW, so all good there.

I am going to purchase this phn from Saudi Arab , My Father is working there and he is coming in next Week.
I think 16 gb is good for me , So many times ago I don't used black colored phone due to this reason Interested in Black but pearl white is Awesome ,
Only afraid of white color due to rough n tough Use.
Is there Any Suggestions Would you like to give.
One more thing is that Is there Any better option at this price Regarding Smatphones ??

Now what I would do is factory reset and give it a test again after that.
Do make backup before you perform reset.

No the battery isnt the most important thing for me as my old smartphone was very weak at this point too. But overall is it a worthy device because i am pretty impressed by its specs, performance and design?And by th way tomazz did asus hire u or something? Thx about everything man.

Little bit I am confused , which... moreFirst off all make sure you get model with 2 GB RAM, and WW, NOT CN, TW or CHT model.
Whether you get 8 or 16 GB is up to you.In Thailand not cost 5990 THB, which is 190$. So if they cost the same, take 16 GB.
Colours are Black, White, Gold, Red, and Purple. Some are not available in all territories.
But note that only difference is back plate colour. You can even buy different colour backplate for 30$ off eBay...
Be careful who you are buying from and check model before you buy.
I do not recommend buying it from China, Macau, Hong Kong or Taiwan, as they have different firmware tailored to that territory and could even have different modem or network standards support.

someone please help, i brought zenfone 5, 8gb about 20 days ago, it was third zenfone in my family so there is no doubt how much i liked this phone, the other two phone i purchased from flipkart had received about 5 or 6 updated so far, over the air, but the current one has came with firmware 1.15(ww)and i was consistently checking for updates but never got a single uddate finally i got an update of about 40mb which bring my phone to 1.17, i know its latest one but i want to know the updates asus skipped for me, is a reason to worry? because i remember my other same phones got few updates like, for increasing brightness of LED when capturing photos, as i LED was bright enough when using it as torch but when capturing photos its lag a little or remains dull, same experience im having with my current phone, also downloaded whole firmware(1.6) to resolve this issue from asus website for ww suk but my phone not taking it may be because of its 1.16 and my phone is already on 1.17 so it will be a downgrade... now someone helppppppppp.....please...

kunal, 26 Aug 2014how is the quality and durability of this phoneOn quality, well it is not only designed but also produced by Asus in entirety, and looks far better put together than other phones in this price range.
Inner parts selection also does not suggest this being a budget phone as most parts are same as on the Padfone series.
It is actually hard to understand how Asus managed to drop production cost by 75% when you compare them on the inside.
We can't talk about durability on a phone that is only out for a few months...
So it is better than most if not all in this price range but obviously not in the same league as top end offerings from competitors, although surprisingly close.

Nice phone... i buy zen 5...8gb in flipkart...
Nice battery back upto 10 to 15h with medium use.....
Its also 2gb ram...very fast gaming perfmnce...8mega pixel master camera...excellnt pics..
Skin clearity n video recording asome......
