Well the phone looks pretty good! As matter of fact people r complaining that it doesn't support OTG! Well asus released new firmware update supporting OTG!

when i am clicking install button in play store first time it is showing cannot be installed error 904. 2nd time its installing successfully..also the fm radio vol down button not working when fm in forground & mobile locked..but if it is in background vol down working..2 bugs i think

very nice phone i really like its performance.. previously i was using sony Xperia and believe me this phone is awesome.. internet speed is awesome.. touch is very smooth.. both camera is also very good.. today i got new software update after that my phone is supported otg and notifications led light is also working when i received new msg or missed call.. vry vry good phone at this price

zenfone 4 8gb and 1 gb ram 4"screen
Zenfone 5 8gb and 16gb, both having 2 gb RAM 5" screen
Zenfone 6 16gb with 2 gb RAM and 6" screen.
There is no 1gb RAM version of Zenfone 5 in India.

Very early models came with 1 GB RAM. They might still be kicking around.
Seems Asus is phasing out 8 GB version and replacing it with 16 GB version at the same price. At least here in Thailand they've already done that.
So to know what version you're getting, check the back of the box. That's where specs are written.
Imagine this as buying a laptop. There's one model of it, but then there are options for different CPUs, amount of RAM, hard disk sizes, etc.
Asus can put in whatever they want and still call it ZenFone 5. But the specs are chosen based on the target market's price sensitivity.
So safest bet is, unless the seller specifically writes it, to check what it says at the back of the box, or in the settings of the phone.

Since you are using "Notification Light Widget" ,posting your queries... moreErm no.
I have put the widget on one of the pages, tapped on it to turn it on. And that was it.
When the phone restarts or turns on, maybe 10-15 seconds after it's booted, a message appears that notification light is turned on.
I rarely reboot the phone, so it's on for week + but I have not noticed any issues on 1.16.40 and 1.17.40 firmware.
It did not work on 1.15 though. No matter what you set.
