I am using Asus zenfone 5 for the past 3 days, it looks great in hand. I personally feel, overall quality of the phone should be improved to compete with samsung.
Things you can expect:- very good display, speed etc.. QUALITY :(
Datacable dint fit the port in the mobile properly.
the speaker filter is very bad quality.
Touch was great but it is not working properly. it will take it to service center to correct it.
If you would like to buy a Quality phones Asus not for you!! but you compromise then there is no phone which is equal to this...
camera is better still room for improvement in the camera register chip... Good for day light photography. if you understand the phones camera options well you can create magic....
IF ASUS would have stuffed the camera with larger chip, you will not think of buying other device.
Great UI and easy navigation and ASUS have provided easy mode which looks great
Call quality is superb no problem and not faced any issues with signal.
The device has got the good sound stuffed into the device but the headset they provided could have been a better like HTC and tangle free.. still not a disappointing headset.
For music lovers you should get a good headset and for music details.
Battery expect a days or below.

Try downloading Mobogenie but not from the Play Store. You can install plenty apps just like Play store but doesn't need to sign in your gmail.

My device just got vibrate all the time. Whenever the power is on. If I shutdown, when I push the power button, it got vibrate too n when turning back the power, it stay vibrate. Anyone experience this?

ken, 01 Aug 2014no , it is not, it can operate 3g on one sim at a time only. it's either sim 1 is 3g and sim 2... moreYeah, I know that only one phone can be 3G at a time (HTC doesn't allow this though :/).
Now my only concern is if the SIM 2 will be reachable when using 3G on SIM 1 and vice versa.

Ca... moreIn 8 GB u will get 4.98Gb user space and in 16gb edition u will get 12gb user space And one more thing 16gb edition has Z2580 processor which is much better then 8gb edition which is z2560

@virus40 is the phone comfortable for u to hold in the hand or carry around in the Pocket? I was initially hesitated to buy this phone bcoz of its size, but I just cannot ignore the features that it offers at 10k.

after the 3rd update:
the rare force closing of some system apps have now been corrected.
u cn clear all the background apps at one go.
but there is some bug in the stock music player, even if i scroll down the songs list it come to centre automatically.
also the while scrolling through the gallery, its nt smooth. it was fine before the update. they might rectify it in the coming updates :)

zenfone 5 has dual noise cancelling mics
similary fma radio is also not mentioned.
or may be only Indian version has fm
that is why it has not seen mentioned.
i am a zenfone 5 user and whatever i write here on this page is absolutely true.
