Anonymous, 28 Jul 2014Bro it fast and less power consumable... if ur Wi-Fi is on for wats app ,hike ,browsing Dude , the Intel processor in Zenfone 5 is way faster than the quad-core cortex A7...It's almost matching the speed of my Note2 on internet browsing on 3G...!

zaroon, 28 Jul 2014Guys please reply me, even though if I switch on the smart saving battery app ON but I am not ... moreI too had the same ...To update the weather on lock screen...go to add widgets on lockscreen by swiping down on and then left on lock screen...there is a weather widget...add it to the lock screen and remove the old one...!
And there u go...weather will be updated on lock screen every time using refresh...!

this is a china phone made by cotek electronics china and not made by asus which is only a marketer of this phone

Em using dis cell for about 6 7 days didnt face any problem yet...this is d bst phn in dis price range.....i concluded the following
Excellent display nd user friendly interface
Many customisations dat u will get in smartphones priced above 20k
Sound quality is not too low as per reviews its pretty decent
Battery is also not bad over wifi and screen on - it gives backup of around 6 hours with continuous usage ,enough for a one day
Excellent browsing experience with stock browser
Decent camera as compared to phones of similar range
Overall its a very good smartphone better than any other smartphone in this range. I recommend everyone to go for this phone than any other cheap brands like micromax karbonn gionee...

wifi working fine on my device.
the battery usage on wifi is much much better than the 3g.
i guess 3g battery drain is the only battery issue with the phone.
with wifi the battery drains like normal phones

guys
this is not a 100% sure thing but i have to share it.
today i switched of smart saving on zenfone 5 the entire day and
the battery back up was better than the days when i keep it on ultra saving mode.
please try it and tell me was it a fluke or it is like that

Guys please reply me, even though if I switch on the smart saving battery app ON but I am not getting any symbol of smart saving app symbol on my screen. Initially I used to have a battery with leaf symbol on my screen. But now I am not getting it.
And secondly my weather forecast is not getting update on my lockscreen. But it is updating on my home screen. Why is it so???

Ali, 28 Jul 2014I am also facing issue with wifi. When it goes to sleep mode or standby mode or screen is off,... morecheck if your power saving mode is on , if its switched on the wifi and mobile data gets disconnected while the phone is in standby mode or when the screen goes off !
