For people who is unable to make phone calls or receive.
It disconnects your Mobile network signal when u get one for 5 seconds.
Pls try this.
Settings >> MORE >> Mobile Networks >> Network Mode >> click to put a check mark on Use only 2G Networks.
Then you should be good to go.
My phone is working now. So far Im happy with my fone 5.

Since this phone's battery is non-removable, I don't hope to damage the battery.. Is it ok to charge my zenfone5 with a 5V2A powerbank? Or it is preferable to charge with 5V1A powerbank?

I had an issue with the proximity sensor. It doesnt work. When you tap it it will reset until you exit on the apps using it. I come to test this using tester apps. Once it senses your finger it will tell the object is close. But it will not reset to far again when the object is remove until you exit the tester app.

I have face this problem on my friend phone. The technician said they might received the fault crack OS , and the Crack OS already full of malware and backdoor. We decided to replace it with Ori set. Please replace your phone at the shop u bought from, and get the ORI set.

Bought this phone a few weeks ago. So far i have no problem until the last updated, my music app isnt works very well. The music stopped/freezed itself. I dont know why. Someone, please help me ? How can i solve this problem. Tq.

je, 30 Jun 2014wat meant by tap n hold? how after i set the setting i dunnoe how to screenshot.It means tap and hold the right button (key button. The double squaring button). You can configure that in the ASUS customisation settings. Alternatively, press and hold the power button and the volume down button consecutively.

bought z5 about 1 week.
1st of all, i bought a xiaomi mi3 with rm769 and i sold it and get this 1.6gb 2gd ram version with rm550.
the main reason is i need a dual sim phone.
i were always think to buy Moto G, but the only this stop me to get it is due to the 5mp camera, yes i like to take great pics. i cant accept lousy image quality.
and lucky, not so bad for zen5.
screen - Gorilla Glass 3, 720p, color looks dim compare to other phone even i set the brightness to 100%. anyway, this indirectly can help to reduce battery usage.
battery,my main concern, i worry before i bought this becoz most of the ppl here review that the battery life is sucks.
my experiece - battery is fine.
unplug from morning 7.30am, with 3g always on, on & off use wifi, it can last until 10pm.
with average surfing net, call and play around.
wifi - no problem at all.
3g, i ever experienced that when i on the 3g, it took me about 5 minutes to connect.
the fastest way is on the 3G and restart the phone.
but now seem resolved after software update.
facebook - yes i cant use the fb app directly downloaded from play store also. you can solve this by download the fb app in google.
now my not so good experiences with this phone.
push mail - i need to use pop3 for push mail but it not working. i need to manually refresh then i can receive new email. which is really disappointed to me.
camera - night mode is not bad. but the overall image quality still not on par with my 2 years old samsung s3.
speaker - speaker not strong, even i set to the loudest.
Overall, i no regret to bought this phone. it really nice. with the price 550,really worth to invest.
