To answer everyone's question about the battery issue. For now what works the best, that I have read in many forms too is to limit the in box Asus softwares and services (most of which is undeed), and offcourse a good battery application.
This can be done by forcing the to close/disable, either using your knowledge of your phone or using applications or a combination of both. Another way is rooting. Read up about that. Hope this helps.

It's awesome wonderful phone in this price range. No one can compare any other phone in this same price range with zenfone 5. 2GB ram gives a fantastic speed and the 8MP camera keeps this phone highlighted. Totaly the perforperformance is excellent and I belive the Zenfone will more popular soon.

Phone is absolutely great compare to my old galaxy s2. Sk far, no lag or whatsoever because of the 2GB ram and fast proc. (1.6 ghz is it?). So multitasking is the best. But there is 1 major problem. Th battery. It drain up to 50 % in just 2 hours. Wtf? I hope ASUS will improve the battery life in the lolipop update. Anyway, it is a great phone for its price. So yeah Asus ftw.

One of the most horrible phone followed with 3rd class support in Bangalore... We bought the phone and with in 4 weeks phone went down and when given for service was diagnoised as some part failure due to water log and then took 1 month to replace and return and today again with in 3 weeks the sound stopped working and again another 6 days in hope of promise will be kept.
Horrible phone and support dont even think of trying this crap

this phone is great . both sim slot support 3g . no need to restart if u wanna change the simcard . but battery drain so fast . and camera just not like real 8mp and 2mp . if this phone have great camera like samsung S2 and long lasting battery use like tab 3 i will gv 5 star for this phone . anyway other is great no lag issue even playing hd games .

I have bought this phone 4 days before.According to the functions and camera it is best.. But its battery backup very disappointed me
.Only 4 to 5 hours insteed of soft use of net..
