I like it, and I actually like that they are using the same type of design as Iphone X, can´t wait til it comes out :)
i go to see opinions on zenfone 5, 5z, oppo f7, r15, lg g7, OP 6, and many other notch designed phone. ALL I HEAR IS A LOTT OF USERS WHINING ABOUT UGLY NOTCH!!
GROW UP for God sake!! this is the latest design they do according to the market trend and demand, they have a team that paid tons of money to do market research, and they wont sell a phone that will not match the market demand, as they will commit suicide if they do so.
I know everyone has their own opinion and taste for design, but seriously guys, whining about them notch will not make them change their design, you either stop whining and make up with them notch or just dont buy a phone with a notch, PROBLEM SOLVED, if you wish i can give yall tons of phone that doesnt include notch on the design, for your future reference
BECAUSE SERIOUSLY IM TIRED READING ABOUT PEOPLES WHINING ABOUT NOTCH, we get your point already, reallyy, now please move on guys

Grafinette, 13 Mar 2018SD660 is more powerful than SD636. I wonder why this phone used SD636 instead of SD670.Maybe for better pricing. Even Zenfone 4 has SD660.

Why the f**k the design is like Iphone X? Why why why? I dont mind the affordable price but what should need to be proud about the design? They COPY the UGLY design and should be proud of that? Two things wrong here.
Is the build number (sku) 'ww' for asus users in india? Or is it something different?
Also as ota updates are based on regions, will an asus device bought in india (depending on sku) receive its ota update when ota' s for india roll out no matter where in the world you may be? Or is dependant on being in the india region or having an indian sim card functioning to receive the ota?
Aiman, 13 Mar 2018What is difference between Snapdragon 636 and 660? Which one is better?SD660 is more powerful than SD636. I wonder why this phone used SD636 instead of SD670.
What is difference between Snapdragon 636 and 660? Which one is better?
For the people that is asking the price. For now, we only know the price for Zenfone 5Z, 470€. So, the Zenfone 5, will be a little more cheap, around 400€.
Another thing. Why here says ratio screen to body around 83% when the Asus says it's 90%?
i started using smartphone with nokia lumia 800 in 2012, ever since i have changed 5- 6 different phones and i must admit that the branch which has impressed me more than anyone is ASUS. Really it gives you worth every rupee spent. My first asus phone was Zenfone 2 laser and i liked it a lot for its very good battery life, very good camera and very good general performance. after ZF2 Laser i used coolpad note 3 lite, htc one m8, htc desire 830 and honor 6x, but if you leave honor 6x apart none of the above mentioned phone come closer to zenfone in terms of overall value for money. The phone i am using is zenfone 3 and i must say i am loving it, for its superb battery life, android oreo update, excellent performance and great camera. I may never purchase an apple iphone for its nonsensical pricing but if a brand like asus gives me true value for money, i'd definitely go for it.

I will never fuel a greed of a company which doesnt deserve it.
I mean if a company sells excellent device for a real money its perfect but apple samsung and lot more dont know what to ask for their devices. Its not only not, i dont like IOS because its too complicated and restrict you from almost everything. I dont like apple small batteries and slow charging. I dont like curved screens and as i said above i dont like present pricing.
This explains everything.
Well i understand everybbody needs money but paying 3-5 times more than it cost its not an option.

Did you ever think you are too confident to say that?
Your comment remind me of proverb from Indonesia.
"The Elephant in front of you is not visible (AI,price, design, perform, battery, avaiblity, camera and many more) but Ants across the sea are visible. (The Notch)"

But when i look at this one i never will because i dislike apple for many certain reasons and anyone who copy apple i dont like too.
These companies have dozens of money to copy the design but they lack of brain to hire people to make own good design which doesnt copy anything.
CptPower, 04 Mar 2018Dude really?
If i check most of the asus phones everybody or most of the people saying about ... moreZF3 has been updated with 2 major OS updates, currently on the latest 8.0, with multiple smaller udpates & patches, so your information is lacking any basis in reality.
Even ZF2 OS was updated twice, once right near launch the other once Mashmallow made it through testing (due to all the moaning about the previous update), although these updates required downloads for some and werenÂ’t available as OTA in all regions, thatÂ’s still better than even some of GoogleÂ’s own devices which were orphaned for marketing reasons not capabilities (ie Nexus 7 gen2).
People will always complain about what updates changed or didnÂ’t address, and a large portion of the moaning is BS from people wanting to be able to roll-back their devices for the very exploits you claim the generic owners are using to get stock OTA updates, but even most of those are region specific for features that the local carrier is involved in supporting.
