h90455, 02 Sep 2014hi i have internet connectivity issue with zenfone5 anyone facing same problem i order two asu... moreContact your Mobile Operator and manually set the Access Point. It would solve the problem.
Owned this phone for over a week, and i really mean it when i say it's an absolute piece of crap, DON'T BUY IT.
Problems i've so far encountered with firmware 1.16:
- Phone hangs a minute or two into calls.
- Battery gets EXTREMELY hot behind the flash from just using the phone.
- Random hangs, especially a lot of the google based apps randomly closing with the "Unforunately, (app name) has stopped" and contiunes to close upon opening until a hard reset has performed.
After updating firmware to 1.17 the phone no longer hangs on calls, and google apps have only crashed twice.
But still, the phone gets quite hot during normal use, it has to be almost permanently attached to a power pack otherwise it won't last 6hours of normal use.
Phone will also hang overnight, and require a hard reset each morning.
But worst of all, attempting to fully charge more than 50% will cause the phone to hang, and won't even restart with a hard reset: I have to manually take the battery cover out and disconnect it from the motherboard for an hour before it will start again.
All i can do is wait and pray Asus sort out the firmware so the Zenfone is usable, until then i'm back to Samsung.
Asus the best smartphone...low price but verry quality and the best performence...i like asus zenfone.

AnonD-299810, 29 Aug 2014hello!can i use this phone in greece?thank you!yessss
I have been using the Asus zenfone 6 for the past one month. So far it seems like a pretty good phone.
Good quality camera.
Stylish look, so many people have commented on how good the phone looks.
nice UI and easy to use.
Big screen so easy to read e-books, watch movies, play games. After using this phone the rest of the phones look like toy phones in comparison.
Budget phone for the build quality and screen size.
Does it get a little bit heated around the flash area. It's a tolerable heat so nothing to worry about here.
The music player is not so good. The skins provided by Asus is not very good and it doesn't remember the last point of a song played, instead it starts off from the beginning of the song.
No FM. It does have an icon with FM Radio on it but it doesn't seem to catch any signal around where I live.
Battery gives me upto 24 hours of near constant usage. I have noticed however that it gets charged very slowly. It take nearly 2 hours to charge the phone to full battery. I previously had Sony Ericsson Neo V which took just half an hour to charge from 60% to 100%, but this phone seems to take a lot of time for doing the same.
