I've used zen6 for almost a year now. And within the period of 11 months, it never disappoints me or causing trouble until a few days ago. I realised that my battery is drowning really fast as usual and it really annoys me. Mine is still kit kat and i didn't do anything to it. And the battery was drowning. Should i reset the phone? Please help me.

hi everyone.. i dont know what had happen to my asus zenfone6. yesterday i found that my phone becomes very hot while charging using the power bank. then i shut down my phone. but till now, it cannot be turn on. when i connect my phone with the charger, still there's nothing but my phone becomes hot. yet still unable to turn on. :( is it my phone that have problem or he battery?? please help,,, T.T sorry for my english then.

At the time I buy Asus zenfone6 T00G .
The sales man told me. That this is the new version from Asus.
And than I review. At that time I trust Asus zenfone6 .
One day to a week I using zenfone6 . that so much love I get it . I really like it. I don't get any problems from zenfone6 . as I get problem from other brands.
And than I tell my friends that she life in Taiwan n in Malaysia.
They n Hongkong . they trust me as I trus zenfone6 .and they all really happy about zenfone6

my phone just fallen from my hand and then after the phone does not turn on and my data is not backed up what should i do its urgent if i charge then the phones get heated

I really like this smartphone and it work well and i did not experience any problem as people say. The battery last longer during normal use, but the battery will run out quickly when I play game as I turn off asus power optimize.

Has anyone tried installing ShutApp from google play? It works like greenify. I'm a zenfone 6 user and mine runs lollipop. No heating when I play online games...just a bit warm. I put a shutapp widget on my homescreen and tap it before gaming. It really works. I just make sure when I play games, no other apps running in the background. Just remember to add on the whitelist the apps that needs important notification like facebook, or launchers.
Also in lollipop, Asus is nice enough to add Auto-start Manager. This really helped my battery in standby. My zenfone 6's battery only eats 2 percent overnight. My onscreen time now can reach up to 4.5 to 5 hours when playing online games, compared to kitkat which I can only reach 2.5 hours.

Unless your made of ice the so called "heat" phones and tablets create NEVER feel uncomfortable and are NEVER a issue.
I have never heard of a Phone dying because it was to hot and i doubt this will ever happen.
Ive never had a device get to hot just warm which is fine.
A cup of tea is way hotter and people dont seem to be having issues with that.

its natural intel atom family easy to heat up, only one way to make not very hot its underclock the processor, but it must rooted before, and use app named kernel tweaker, and sorry for my english

im using zenfone 6 for a year now, 1st problem occurred in updates on some application its not working properly, i don't know why . 2nd is that the phone gets heat up and log, same thing i don't why. ASUS please fixed the problem in your zenfone.

there isnt even a 5.0.1 update for the zenfone 6.
The latest firmware is 3.23.40.60 which is still 5.0
