Please update us when the call quality issue is solved. I am hoping to buy the silver version whn it comes to India, hoping at that time, they will solve this issue I mean with a new motherboard or ear speaker...fingers crossed

Asus needs to fix the tweaks they made to the Indian version, because the receiver of the present device distorts the incoming audio to such an extent that you cannot understand the content or even voice of the person calling you. This happens irrespective of the volume or network. Even the latest .133 patch does nothing to address it. Yes, secondary issues (lowlight camera performance and heating) also needs work and can be sorted later
as software fixes, but they need to fix the primary feature of the phone first - Calling!

This is the best software because you get stock android experience but also get the features not available in stock android. Don't have the laggy heavy android skins but still have features of those skins and still fast stock android interface. And pf course, it's almost complete hardware-wise. Only missiong ir blaster and amoled screen

We have different preferences and needs for our daily drivers, what's good for you doesn't suit other's taste especially regarding vanilla Android or UIs.

Shibin, 30 Jun 2019All commentimg about the display, camera motor and phone getting heat ,they didn't not to worr... moreMore of question: Onzenfone 6/6z do you get camera motor noise/vibration when you lock/unlock phone using power button?It seems like when you click/single press power button,camera motor tries to start/or does some check whic make a mouse click like sound from camera motor. please confirm. Just bring the phone part near to your ear where camera motor is and press/click power button. I hear motor click like noise everytime as if it got some power on signal.
Do you get this issue.
Yes call quality is bad high volume, but very much ok at mid volume even at 80-90% it is good. What I observed is call quality is excellent on apps like what's app but normal call its bad at high max volume.. So I think that's software issue of app used for calling, hope they fix it soon.
