Mikey , 28 May 2019I'm in USA on Verizon. When I called them they told me this phone will be released in July. did they say it would be released on verizon? The bands i saw didn't seem to match up with verizons but did with all other US carriers

Example: holding the phone with one hand, trying to use my pointing finger to select something, but the phone registers two fingers touching and try's to zoom, scroll or select multiple things.

You see mouth-watering it is? It's gonna attract a lot. Even though it might struggle against the big boys, like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Oneplus. If it couldn't beat those companies, it still would stand on it's own in the sales market.

This could be a huge game changer for Asus in the smartphone department. Nobody cares about Moto now, due to how overpriced, and undervalued it is. Asus actually created something that will go head to head with the likes of Mi 9, Samsung S10E, and other companies such as Oppo, Vivo and even Oneplus.

Both models 6GB with 128GB and 8GB with 256GB are both out of stock on the Asus UK store. As it stands no retailer in the UK will be selling this. So atm the only place that you can pre-order this is from (that I've seen anyway) is Gearbest or Giztop. Giztop told me that they're selling the Chinese variant (with Chinese ROM but has Play store pre-installed) Gearbest is £483.22 which is £16 cheaper than what Asus was selling it at. Would rather pay that extra £16 and get a UK charger along with 2-year manufacturer warranty and not have to worry about paying customes fee with gearbest.. Patiently waiting for toy deals/global to sell this, because I know it will be global version and it will be much cheaper, plus they both offer good discount codes

This motorized flip camera implementation is first demonstrated by OPPO N3 on smartphone.
I will check the comment section at there.
Of course, almost similar implementation such as OPPO Find X, Vivo Nex S, OPPO F11 Pro, Vivo V15 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Oneplus 7 Pro, OPPO Reno also have similar concern on the motorized wear and tear part, not just on this Zenfone 6.

Anonymous, 26 May 2019Considering the cost of production of a near bezelless screen with a flip camera, why can't co... moreOther opinion: I barely ever use selfi-cam, if the motorized thing breaks I would likely not even realize it. I do not have a problem with a small chin bar, but I want 80+% screen to body ratio, simply because I want to have the most possible phone in the same size. Side bezels are okay, because palm rejection won't ever work reliably, top and bottom bezels don't do anything for me (I don't need front firing speakers, I don't need selfi-cam)
