Hi all. I would like to replace my Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) and this is one of the candidates. But there is one thing I hate on my Max Pro - heating. After several minutes of using the phone or charging it becomes really hot. Has anybody experience with the heating of the new Zenfone 6? My second candidate is Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 Pro. Again - has anybody experience with this phone and its heat dissipation? Thank you so much.

Vrr, 16 Oct 2019Motherboard failure. When do you buy this phone?
satorhelyi, 13 Oct 2019 The phone has no cooling system. That's a big problem. During the game, the processor is 80 ... morehow do you expect to cool the camera? the camera is small and it can't have a robust cooling solution because of how it acts as the front facing camera when it flips. I'd argue this is normal but the processor is pretty well cooled
DirtyLittleSecrets, 12 Oct 2019how about the cooling sysytem of this phone?
The phone has no cooling system. That's a big problem. During the game, the processor is 80 degrees Celsius. When you shoot, after 10 minutes, you have 60 celzius .... When you make 4k video, the whole phone gets hot. Plenty of motherboards go broke because of this. Asus should not sell this phone.

Great phone so far!! Best bang for buck I've seen in a while.
btw the Asus site says the SD Card slot is up to 2 TB, not 1 as shown.
Nevrgit, 03 Oct 2019Bad call quality and reception. Data works fine but only 50% of calls go out and none come in... moreMight be you have LTE but no 3G reception? The Zenfone 6 has no VoLTE/VoWiFi.
If that's the case, go to the Asus ZenTalk forums and tell them to finally implement it. The more people ask, the more likely it is that they'll do it.
