Asus needs to produce high specs but with screen size smaller than 5 inch.
I don't like cellular phone those have body too big. It's not practical.
i will buy this unit soon. but i just want to know frst if this unit is OTG supported and is it capable for games?
Hello,
I have been interested in this smartphone. But i noticed some stuff that really do bother me.
Well, first off all - this is 199 Euros in Finland. So that means you should be able to get a Full HD display for this money. (around 400 ppi)
The processor is nothing special. I would have thought an Octa Core would have been possible already.
Also, 3GB RAM should be possible... 2GB is minimal these days.
The battery should be atleast 3000mAh if your going to be livestreaming a lot.
Released 2017 March? Where's android 7.1.1 Nougat?
I have an Huawei P9 Lite and i paid 199€ for this. And its way better in specifications.
just asking, 02 Mar 2017no OTG?support otg

I've been using ASUS Zenfone Live for more than a month and it works well for me. Obviously, it's designed for those who are into social media (like me) and for girly girls, I guess. Its system is updatable so if there's an android/asus upgrade it notifies you. The battery is doing great as well. I'm a Korean Drama fan and I watch videos most of the time, I charge my phone for 2 hours (more or less) and use it for 5-6 hours NON-STOP but it lasts longer if you just scroll on Facebook or Twitter. The camera works well under great lights but otherwise, meh. I don't really use handphones for photography so it doesn't matter that much to me. I've dropped the phone twice already and it's still working brilliantly with no scratch at all. To sum if up, I'm loving it!
nick, 23 May 2017Plastic But i watched a video in which he says it's full metallic. I'm confused!
Can someone list all the pros and cons of Asus Zenfone Live for me? Please!
Asus.is good, with generous specs andlong life .battery
For my previous experience(Asus Zenfone 2 5.5") for dual sim, sometime one simcard is error to out of service. But I believe that the new one is better than. So I will buy this one.
The chipset is outdated. Launched in 2013.
Don't buy asus mobile because of late update from asus, firmware bugs and loudspeaker is not loud. Sometimes hanging. Go for redmi or moto or lenovo
fari, 20 May 2017it's body is metallic or plastic? Plastic
this phone has a disadvantage the battery is not removeable
it's body is metallic or plastic?
Asus why dont you use your old zenfone 2 design instead of copying other manufacturers design? Your company once manage to make your device different than others and also good looking with the volume rockers at the back. But now it look very same like vivo and oppo. The specs also terrible. You should use at least SD425 or Helio P10, that processor (SD410) is already three years old! For those who want to buy this, forget it. Better get something else..
