Cameron, 20 Mar 2018The camera is pretty bad. Like a cheap chinese phone. not really bad
dont buy this phone if u looking for performance, it has terrible experience for gaming. if u looking for photo or selfie this phone for you otherwise this phone suck!
Been using this phone almost a month, totally satisfied with its price/performance definitely great and can compete with my GF Redmi 5 Plus, the camera also work great for outdoor
AnonD-744504, 15 Mar 2018really i confused buy mobile Asus Zenfone Max Plus or Redmi 5 plusASUS for the durability and availability of repairs. Xiaomi for the price and specs.

Did the Firmware Update of this March 16, fixed the battery drain problem?
With low price, you can have 4130 mAh big battery, less heat with new processor octa-core MT6750T, low light and wide angle f/2.0 aperture 16MP stunning photos, new Android 7.0, and 4GB RAM. Really recommended.

I actually initially returned this phone after buying it. I felt it was a bit choppy and thought I could get better for the price. I was wrong. I tried other phones and did extremely thorough Internet research and ended buying BACK the same Max Plus phone, from Best Buy again. Ultimately, for the price, it is a very good quality phone. The screen, battery, and overall speed are great. Very crisp, colourful and snappy experience. It does heat up a lot, the buttons and overall design is clunky, and it can be choppy, but if you look at the specs, this is simply best phone you can get for the price.
LAN, 08 Feb 2018Asus still did not learn on the 1st time they did put MTK on their devices. Overheating issues... moreThey did this probably because they learned that the last time they use snapdragon 615, 616, and 617 on their phones, all of them got overheating, slowdown and lagging, also battery drain issues.
i'm considering about getting mi a1, but this one seems to be nice alternative. i wonder if someone could give good comparison between these two
also i heard that most zenfone with mediatek got some serious overheating issue, i wonder if this one still suffered the same
i brought one and i like it just like my good old asus zenfone 5 (intel SoC) i only hate is the screen protection its only typical glass for smartphone. audio output on speaker is decent poor and software (mostly google apps like music player) yes it heat up for long hours of use full brightness. this is worth for bucks for me unlike oppo A57 (ONLY I LIKE IS COLLABORATION OF DIRAC AB for audio the rest specs for girls or ladies like selfie anyday)
