I had this since highschool and I'm currently typing this comment with it. The battery had never been replaced and it still goes strong with a whole day of scrolling watching yt, pomodoros. I had fun using custom roms with it back it the day, and still runs android 12. The only thing I wish I can change is the display since I've upgraded to an oled phone.

Still going strong though buttons are broken. battery stays strong for 1 full day. never changed battery till date. using custom rom

i have been using this phone from 2018 till now and got twice times replacement battery. this phone is incredible though still in android 9. unfortunatelly asus did'nt continue max pro series after M2.

Still going strong after exactly 6 years. Lots of customization since day one also to take advantage of the huge battery (for the time). Now, instead of 2 days, I can do one or one and 1/2. Anyway, great phone!

Already use 7 years, 3-4 times fall during using but still in good condition, only battery always running out (thats 's normal i guess:)), need replacement soon but the durability and easiness of this experience using Asus lead me to re-order Asus for my coming plan.

Defiantly it will reached its limitations by hardware level!

The GOAT, 5 years and plenty of abuse later, it still works like a charm. on android 13 thanks to LineageOS. All the phones I've looked at as it's replacement seem to be huge step down. None of the budget phones offer anything better than what I currently have and none of the premium phones could withstand the harsh conditions this phone endured.
