neo, 19 Jan 20191)poor implementation of notch screen by software.
2)no 5ghz wifi band
3)touch screen issues... moreNo one from ASUS will read your comment here! lol
there are other better corr. places to adress the real probs.
and Specs was known,
don't complain about specified things
- plastic back - lol
this is a very good priced, but budget device.
Better buy a POCO, but wait . . .
its plastic as well .... for much more
and without Gorilla Glas 6 and that shiny back,
you doesn't even get a dedicated microSD-slot ...
chirogan, 19 Jan 2019I have the 6GB variant. Dissapointing to know its nowhere to be found. ???
as I said
"starting this days" across Europe,
already available in UA, Baltic region, PT and ??
- listed in FI, FR, IT, RO + ??
(and each day more countries,
as nearly all will get the same 6 GB version
- or only the vanilla M2 this time -
as far as i know. ;-)
Already available in at least one known China shop w/ int. delivery. (6GB vers.)
There are some int. sellers on Ebay sites as well.
So availability won't be a prob.
please post availability, if you know your and other countries!

try other keyboard apps
and don't forget this is a budget phone,
even most expensive flagship-phones have some probs.
mine only lasted around 10-12 hours, but thats because i was always using data and had hotspot on, with 4-5 hours of gaming on top... i think its pretty reasonable
My phone battery drains fast even if its 5000 mah.. Base on my experience it only last for a day and a half. Just like my phone with only 3000 mah...so dissapointed and also charging takes about 3 and ahalf hours to fully charged... Its very incovenient for always on the go
1)poor implementation of notch screen by software.
2)no 5ghz wifi band
3)touch screen issues while typing(not fully responsive)
4)poor front camera and no slow motion and time-lapse(although in dev mode)
5)plastic build back
6)few software bugs
these are some cons I have found.
Dear asus team,
take it seriously and fix it as soon as possible except that hardware.otherwise costumer will read my comment and won't buy Asus max pro m2.
already ordered the phone should I update it now or wait for android pie update?
Do you experience any problems with your mobile data connection in your country? Im from the Philippines and some users here are having problems is this true? Thinking of buying this phone
I bought the 4GB RAM/64GB Internal Storage version with no NFC, so far very pleased with the phone. It's basically everything I ever wanted in a phone (bar the NFC, but NFC isn't a big thing in my country yet, so it's not like I'd have many chances of using it) at just 200 US dollars.
Except for one complain: touch sensitivity. My previous phone uses an IGZO screen, and despite its many flaws, typing on it is a blissful experience. Despite its sensitivity, the input is precise, ignoring the slight touch from the edge of my palm.
The same cannot be said for Zenfone Max Pro M2. I have a hard time typing with its screen. It sometimes ignores my touch, and sometimes took the slight press of my palm as input. Oftentimes, I find myself forced to touch it multiple times before it registers it. I'm typing this opinion out on my M2, and let me tell ya, it's super frustrating. I think this has to do with its touch recognition software, and I hope Asus will address this issue and fix it in a future patch.
Anonymous, 15 Jan 2019You're wrong my friend. The gorilla glass seems not upto standards as it gets scratched very e... moreI personally always keep my device covered with tempered glass so I'm less known with the theory of scratching screens, but I've watched videos on the reputed YouTube channel 'jerryrigeverything' and found that gorilla glass 3,4 scratch at level 6 on mohs scale of hardness, gorilla glass 5 had some problems but only few phones had that... Some YouTubers tested the max pro m2 the same way as jerry and they found that the gorilla glass 6 had zero problems...

I was really looking forward to nfc and got excited when it was announced to be having a NFC. That one and this will be like a premium experience to me. But nah. This is rare for the price. They need to cut off something.
