Asus Android Rumors

After the successful launch of numerous Asus Zenfone smartphones in India, the company is looking to deliver two more mid-rangers - the Zenfone Max Pro M2 and the Zenfone Max M2 - successors to the currently existing Zenfone Max Pro M1 and the Zenfone Max M1. The popular tipster, Roland Quandt is here to fill in the gaps with pretty detailed specs.

According to the inside information, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 with model number ZB631KL has a 6-inch FHD+ display, by a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.

He also adds triple-camera setup but remains unclear whether the back has tri-sensor setup or just a regular dual-camera configuration with the third shooter being on the front. Either way, the main one is expected to be 13MP.

ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 ZB631KL = 6in FHD+, 13MP, 4GB RAM, 64/128GB. Snapdragon 660 (SDM660), Triple Cam
ASUS ZenFone Max M2 ZB633KL = 6in FHD+, 13MP, 4GB RAM, 32/64GB. Snapdragon 636 (MSM8953), Dual Cam
ZB632KL (non-Pro), ZB634KL (Pro) are likely India specific variants

As far as the regular Zenfone Max M2 with model number ZB633KL goes, it will offer the same 6-inch FHD+ display but with Snapdragon 636 on board. The memory configuration is 4GB of RAM with either 32 or 64GB internal storage. Two cameras are at hand with the main one retaining the 13MP resolution.

The model numbers ZB632KL and the ZB634KL refer to the non-Pro and the Pro variants of the phones but are likely India-specific models.

Roland Quandt then adds that he isn't entirely sure of the specs but can confirm the model numbers, the camera count, the CPUs and the RAM.
