This will be a killer phone if the battery is really going to be 5000 mAh. Hope the prices won't be too high. Or at least create a version for mid-range with 5000 mAh battery. This will make up for Asus phones with low battery.

i hope this phone really does not drain battery fast, because i want to buy it. i held myself back from buying zenfone 2 because they said intel processor drains battery fast.

why do the do this kind of stuppid changes??? in one hand they give you A 5000mh battery "awesome" in the other hand a snapdragon 410 !!! it would barely run there ZenUI !!! an adreno 305 ??? you know what does it mean ??? no good games for you my friend % 2gb of ram instead of 4gb in the alredy released zenphone 2!!! why not stay with intel quad core atom cpu!!! it is a power house, all it needed was more battery...

Already bought two ZE550KL for my family members. Given the same specs, A 5000mAh in this phone is an awesome deal. I just wish if the pricing would be around 10,499 INR. I'm just waiting to buy this phone !

Already bought two ZE550KL for my family members.

Tir, 16 Sep 2015Go for MoTO G 3rd Gen. Water ResistantYeah, I like Moto (have two now). Moto G 3rd gen is really good phone but this Asus has the same hardware and more than double battery. In theory should last double. Looking forward that phone is finally released and to read review.

I just want a phone the longest battery life possible; I just need it mostly for texting and some calls; alarm clock; basic calendar; basic notepad; some phototaking ( I own a 70D + 6 assorted lenses, a canon S95, Olympus TG830); I dont need to do surfing on the phone since I have an Ipadmini & an Ultrabook).
I hope this ZenfoneMax delivers what I need; I just need the longest battery life (standby time).
