I love the phone's Zen UI. The battery was a downer then for other models. Now Asus is king. I'm going to get one of these for sure. I love this phone.

Asked customer care about upgrading to marshmallow but there is no official update from company. Asus news section says max will get up-gradation in april may 2016
Bought it yesterday. It took 4 hours to full charge. Then upon checking battery data in Settings, it says "84% - 18 hour left of use," considering that I only used it for fb messenger and occasional net browsing while connected to WIFI.
I was hoping that since it has a 5000 mAh battery, 84% can go over 24 hours left to use.

The problem's cause is either with the manufacturing or external forces affecting your phone, such as the hot climate, which is a bit unlikely.
Phone is good,
Charger supplied with the hand set is substandard quality.
Is Zenfone Max better than Zenfone 5? what does the difference between them?
(i got samsung s3 for bout 5 years. even if i have 100% battery it will end like 3 hours)

Had the Asus Zenfone Max for a full month now and this phone is amazing. It's fast, very smooth, don't really use any gaming apps except for EpsxE in which surprisingly works great and the battery life last two full days from using Youtube moderately, FB, some gaming, messaging, calls and repeat again. The camera is also great and it takes pictures very fast, and love that you can pause the auto focus. This phone is the one to get.
I purchased my asus zenfone max a week ago. At first, ive no problem using it, but just this morning, while i was chatting with a friend over fb messenger, the screen flickered,a green broken line appeared on the right side of the screen, and half bottom part is somewhat distorted, but the upper part is ok. I wonder if anyone could help me figure out what went wrong....huhuuhu
I purchased Asus Zenfone Max, i dont have much issues using it for a week aftr buying, but just minutes ago, while chatting with my friend in facebook messenger, the screen flickered, and a broken green line appeared on the right part of it. -This phone is laggy compared to Samsung even my ram still have a large space available.
-The camera is fun (playing the manual mode)you can play with even shutter speed but somehow the exposure cant get it right, in short the sky always white out and other things looks perfect...
-Battery life is awesome, you can run facebook, whatsapp etc and reading your assignment notes with ur phone for several hour and charge it when u reach home, you can even leave ur phone charging since it charge very slow(well you know its a 5Ah battery and 1A charger)
-As this is a phablet... the size is way too big for my hand for one-hand operating but its good if you use it to take note and reading notes...
In conclusion it's suitable for uni student like me... (but i like Samsungs more :p )
