Im a user for asus zenfone selfie ASUS_Z00UD(32gb,3gb ram) for a year. I never get major problem with this amazing phone. It's will heat when u having heavy apps or taking pictures frequently but it is normal. Will cold down almost immediately. I keep clearing then ram almost everytime if im not use the fone and install all the apps in the internal memory. Well, marshmallow only allowed to install apps in internal memory only, that's good though coz make ur fone running smoothly. After a year, i also dont have facing any major issue with the battery. Coz i never did overnight charging and most of the time i charged my fone through powerbank. The most or perhaps the only cons about this fone, to find accessories for them. Sorry for my poor english.

jaaaaanuu, 11 Sep 2016ASUS ZenFone selfi best or Samsung j2. Pro please tell me I buy soon MobilDefinitely Zenfone Selfie, one look at the specs between this phone and the J2 Pro 2016 and Zenfone Selfie is the winner. It has 5.5" display, 1080p resolution compared to J2 Pro's 720p display. Also the J2 Pro only has accelerometer and proximity sensors, whereas this Zenfone has extra Gyro and compass sensors. The Zenfone uses SD615 Octacore while J2 Pro only has Quadcore. But still, it is up to you which phone suits you best. Are these the only two phones you are considering? There should be other brands like Xiaomi which offer quality phones with low prices.
Good eve.
Earlier this afternoon I had it updated. Or more like I took the risk. The last update sucks. No offense ASUS but it was a total disappointment. The camera became slow and the exposure is unreasonably unbalanced and amidst its sharp photos, it's still disappointing. So yeah,I took the risk of still updating it.
So far, I read the review mostly for the camera. Indeed, the auto focus in the back camera is amazing. Sharp and fast. And the depth of field is a thumbs up. The front camera is a BIG NO. It needs to focus TWICE and face detection is sloooooowwww. And its quite frustrating because the name itself, Selfie, was not justified. Please see this through.
BOTTOM LINE, the system is smoother now (and I hope this is not only for the record of first impression) and I am still figuring out what are the major changes that is going to be useful other than additional useless application in which surprisingly, unlike the last update, is non-existent. Can you give me a list?
Great job ASUS! I am still looking forward for great, useful updates in more days to come. God bless.
PS: Don't forget the list of major changes. Thank you.

Yes i have same problem when attempting the jio free offer. I tired uninstall/install the Jio app multiple times but i could not see option. Hopefully they will offer preview offer without code :) i registered my number in Reilaince Digital. Let me update you after 2 days.
It really depends on how you use your phone, depends on the apps. Cause sometimes there are apps who really drains your battery and still running even if you exit them. So you have to stop them manually on your settings to save battery. This phone is really good for me. LG user before, but this Asus Selfie (403 ppi pixel density) has better resolution. And LG phone doesnt have Gyro, if you're a fan of VR games using VR Box. Just the battery drain fast if youre using lot of apps and games and data. But you can use powerbank, highly recommend. You dont have to based everythin on the opinions that you read. Go and try it for yourself, go to mobile stores and try the model unit. I already compare this phone to Oppo F1 Selfie. Oppo has a low resolution, almost half of the Asus. And to a specific Sony Xperia phone, cant remember the unit. Its good but it was expensive for me. Cant afford to buy a so expensive phone if there's one who is much cheaper and almost same specs. Thats all, thanks :)
Lets respect other opinions :)
i've bought this zenfone selfie for about 9 month and updated it to android marshmallow 6.0. after the updated to MM several improvement are sight, like the proximity sensor now very sensitive, several bloatware are gone that makes the phone more smooth.
