But the battery does tend to drain fast,specially when the GPS is on when drive using Waze. The cameras are great.... but it's slooooooooow, it freezes, or lags or whatever it is they call it.

I clean caches most everyday. I clean with built-in app Clesn Master everyday, and it's still slow. And i really can't understand! Octacore... 32 gigs internal memory... snapdragon whatever... it's supposed to perform way faster than my previous phone. But it's not. I sometimes feel like throwing it against a wall or something. Can anybody help me understand WHY?

One of the best phones
I got a silver for myself and a gold one for my wife. both are doing great.
Main and selfie cameras are good enough, performance is really good and the great software interface will satisfy you like all asus android devices.
Updates are coming regularly and there were no problem during last 6 month even there are more than 50 apps on it.
I really suggest this phone at this price.

I just received my sulfur today from eBay (TW version). It is an amazing phone. The screen is very beautiful (my previous phone was LG G4 which is being repaired at the moment due to boot loop) that is on par with my G4. Very responsive and amazing camera (G4 is still better but then this phone is only $299!).
I agree with the battery that it drains on the fast side, it was 100% when I left office at 5:30pm and it is 77% now and it is 23:00. It sat in my pocket until 20mins ago I had a 20mins call.
(Oh yes, it was 78% when I started typing this and it is now 76).
But mind you that this is my first day on this phone, so I bet there are still room for optimizing (I have already installed all the available updates)

About the battery it is good so far for me since I know how to disable some draining apps and uninstall other repeated or similar apps. Mine takes almost 1 day and a half to finish the whole battery life. I think you just need to be a little bit tech savvy to understand the power of this phone...

Heard from many Peoples, Asus Zenfone Selfie get heated too fa... moreit drains battery too fast but it doesn't get heated too fast...seriously the battery is the only problem of this phone and u will feel like u are using 2000mAh battery.Other than that it is a great and one of the best budget phone...let's just hope marshmallow 6.0 android update will solve the battery problem.thanks.

i'm already having that device with 2g.b ram / 16g.b storage-----> I think it's fast and great phone & amazing cameras, regardless of battery and heating....all smart phones doing that
