rizal, 14 Feb 2016Touch screen problem...always hang...just buy 2 week,not goodFrom your description, it sounds like your SW FOTA version is old and outdated. Please go to settings and check the version. Which date is it? If it is not from December 2015, then you must update. Update us fone iver WIFi.

I just brought my zenpad last january , and i forgot the 8 hrs initial charge , what are the effects of this ???

Got zenpad c7.0 as gift this week...got latest firmware.use asus battery mgr..I have only on app allowed kn bk grnd..yet still drain battery fast..Occasional, 5 times do far, when I touch screen..unit shut down itself.
Overall, a tablet for occasional us.still debating whether I should root it or not.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2016battery easily drains when continously been used for only a short span of time (2-3 hrs.)It is no secret that android mobile devices are draining the batteries. it is because many applications are configured to run in the background. In addition, android updates many applications automatically, and the update configure these apps to run in the background. Running applications in background keeps the system awake, and consumes battery. It is highly recommended to use ASUS battery maanager, and disable most apps from background running. In addition, need to repeat disabling background apps, after each android updates.

Very poor device..it totally crashed after 5-6 days using it..also hard to turn on..battery only last for 1 day even if you are not using it often..not recommendable if anyone want to buy it..

There are two cases of charging (2 modes): (1) charge when zenpad on (2) charge when zenpad is turned off. In mode (1) , the device is on, so you will see a small battery icon with zigzag stripe in it at the top left part of the screen , it is very small though..... While in mode (2) the device is off, so you will see a large battery icon filling up, painted on most of the screen, you cannot miss it... Keep in mind that when you charge a device while it is off, then you will not be able to turn it on. You must disconnect charger, press the power button for 12 sec. Let go, then press power button for 4 sec. Untill you feel a vibrate. Only then android will boot up. Try it!

It!s a pain in the ass. One week after I bought it, the system crashed. I sent it to the service, they told me they changed the main card. It can't be even opened.
The other serious problem is, when you put it on charge, there is no sign that you can see if its charging.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2016Don't buy, after updating to latest Android, you won't be able to connect to WiFi I am on latest ASUS FOTA update from December 11, 2015. And my ZePpad WIFi works great. Which version date are you on?

thought there where secondary selfie video.
end up there were none!! only primary...and i paid $260 for it! great regret!

It has dual SIM, to use for cellular. GPS for in car navigation with Bluetooth handsfree. And it has WIFi for internet, and slso for FOTA updates which arrives freqently from ASUS, and boost your device performance with each update. Android lollipop with all latest google features, enables all your meeting reminders and messages on your top screen for easy reviewing. I enjoy this device since august 2015,and I highly recommend it.
