As usual, the news was announced by David Schuster, senior director for software product management at Motorola Mobility. He said that full deployment has begun for the USC variant, while the AT&T variant is open for pull.
If you are not already aware, full deployment means that you'll get an OTA notification on your device, while open for pull means that you'll have to fetch the update by heading to the settings menu on your handset.
In addition, Schuster also revealed that the Cricket variant of the Moto E (2nd Gen) smartphone is also getting the Android 5.1 Lollipop update.Source | Via
