lg Android Touch UI

The AT&T version of the Optimus 3D, christened the LG Thrill 4G, was announced a while back but we are yet to hear a proper launch date for the phone from AT&T. But now Engadget is reporting that Radio Shack has started accepting pre-orders for the device.

The launch date for the Thrill 4G is set sometime around August 7 but you will be able to reserve one for yourself at Radio Shack but purchasing a $50 gift card. At launch, you will be able to pick one up by paying $79.99 and signing for a two year contract or for $550 without any commitment.

In case you are not aware of the Thrill 4G’s abilities, it is LG’s first 3D phone that has a 5 megapixel camera on the back that can capture 3D images and high definition videos and has a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D display on the front. The phone runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and a dual-core 1GHz processor. You can read our review of the Optimus 3D here.
