YoungSoze, u'r way off. If there wouldn't it be for those things you call clones, today the only slide phone producer would be Siemens. No samsung sliders, no Nokia sliders, etc. S88 and K750 have almost the same features but that doesn't make S88 a clone of the K750. It makes it a direct competitor!
Maybe we should stop buying also Moto V3x and Nokia N70 for having a 2 mp camera and mp3. Or start considering them clones of the K750. Judge with your head, not with your fanatism for the favourite brand.
just got it ,the screen is relly good ,i love it more than i can say ....best fone
benq siemens, what an ugly name for a phone. but hu noes, i may be wrong, look what happened to sony erricson.
BenQ-Siemens - better luck next time.
Originality is not one their better qualities seeing as how this phone is a bad clone of the k750. I mean I could see if they had better features than the k750 - but they don't - so they suck.
according to news testreport, same photofile,BenQ-siemens s88 is better than sony-erisson.
This is great! I'm excited to see the quality of the screen!
But I'm not sure about the menu structure, file system, user interface, etc., because it's totally BenQ...
That is what expected from those losers BenQ and Siemens
This phone is photocopy of Sony-Ericsson
BenQ is a joke
this telephone is S-E k750i, but missing radio. please vote k750i. thank you.
thanks xciter.....but the link is not working.........anyways i found out that these models are a good start by b-s but not as successful compared to othe cells..........b-s is planning to laaunch few more cells with less functionality at real greater price.......that is where b-s will be able to get some competiton to nokia and sony ericsson
This phone may be missing something like radio but I still think this is the best phone i have ever seen
Hujefa, check out this thread from club-siemens.
these are pics from the benq-siemens launch in taiwan with 2 sample pics from S88's 2mp cam. imho quality is quite acceptable. indoor noise is tolerable, it reminds me of indoor pics taken by the K750. let's hope that Benq-Siemens' step-up cooperation with pentax would give us good results.=)
As soon as anyone buys one for immediate delivery, post the news on here!
A stand-by time of 200 hours??? I thought OLED screens consumed minimal amounts of energy despite the excellent display properties. This is obviously a premature application of this technology. I think I'll wait until it's tested a bit more extensively.
thanks xciter for agreeing to my point..........did u notice that benq-siemens s88 pictures of display can be found on gsmarena site but they are still not showing the pictures taken from the cell's 2 mp camera ?.......i would even like to check its video clarity..........if we compare s88 with k750i we find that k750i is providing more features that s88 but is also over priced............where as s88 has all the basic tools required to satisfy every ones need only if it costs around 12000 rs
