DSCO (pronounced "disco") is a new app from VSCO ("pronounced "VSCO", obviously). DSCO works similarly to Instagram's new Boomerang app. You have a very barebones app that lets you capture a series of images, which are then turned into a looping video. You can then add VSCO filters to the video and then upload it to your VSCO profile.
Fabulous is a fitness app that goes beyond tracking your activities. Fabulous lets you set goals and will then remind you to perform those activities. It doesn't have to be anything big; you can set goals to remind you to drink water regularly, or move around a bit at regular intervals, or sleep on time. The various routines you set will gradually guide you to a better life, which over time will show its benefits.
App Lock lets you, well, lock access to your installed apps. You can set a passcode, a pattern lock, and even a fingerprint lock on compatible Samsung or Marshmallow devices.
Grab for Instagram
Previously known as Instagram, Grab for Instagram brings additional functionality to Instagram. You can save photos, repost them, skip within videos, search multiple hashtags, zoom into images, ability to share images on other social networks, switch easily between multiple accounts, etc.
Lumino City is a beautiful puzzle game where the entire game world is actually a real model city that moves around as you play and not computer generated visuals. You move around the city solving puzzles all the while realizing that everything you see is a real world set that was shot from different angles. It's a unique take on game design and it's a fun game to boot.
Almost Impossible is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. As you can tell from the name, the game revels in being absurdly difficult but it's just enough to get you to keep trying even after the millionth time you die. If you enjoy challenging platformers then this should be up your alley.
In Between is a 2D platformer where you can shift the gravity to move from one platform to another and to avoid traps. The game requires wit and timing to shift gravity so you can move through the traps and complete the level and each of the 60 levels in itself is a puzzle.
Dead Effect 2
Dead Effect 2 is a first person shooter with some RPG elements. The game will remind you of the Doom series, with the same corridor shooting elements and monsters. The RPG elements come in the form of character customizations. The game looks quite impressive and has over 20 hours of campaign mode and over ten hours of special missions. If you enjoy first person shooters and want something with a lot of flash and "console-quality graphics" then Dead Effect 2 is worth a try.
